Now that was something special for the couple as the mama dog would require a lot of nourishment and care. It was a huge responsibility, and John and Katie did an excellent job. The young puppies were born healthy, and the mama dog was also in perfect health. Rosie gave birth to 4 cow-colored puppies who looked completely different from their mother. After a lot of research and DNA analysis, they found that the markings on the puppies were of an American Foxhound. Hence, John and Katie now knew who the daddy was. However, Rosie did not find it strange that her young ones did not look like her and raised them well with the help of her family. The only trouble was that she did not produce enough milk to feed the pups. So, Katie and John had to help Rosie bottle-feed the young puppies. This is amazing how much effort human foster parents put in to help their pets during the most crucial phase of their life. The Blacks couple has fostered more than 20 dogs so when they encountered a heavily pregnant Golden Retriever, they were more than excited to welcome her puppies.
