In early stage F1, F1b breeding programs, the breeder may be working with the coat color genotypes of two completely different purebred dog breeds. This gets more complicated still when you consider that both parent dogs must contribute the cream coat genotype in order for a puppy to inherit the cream coat. In other words, only two true cream Labradoodle parent dogs will be able to breed cream Labradoodle puppies. Eumelanin is responsible for black and the various shades in that color spectrum. Nose color: Depending on the breed association you consult with, a true cream Labradoodle will have either a black, brown, or rose pinkish nose.
