Chico and his buddy, Bear, were surrendered to the rescue because their family was having financial difficulties and could not afford to keep them. Both pups were stressed when they first came into the rescue after this major life change, but they have acclimated well to their new foster homes. Chico is currently being fostered with two small dogs both more laid back energy, one is very submissive and one is more bossy, and Chico does well with both. He has a medium energy level and is always up for activity and does great in the car.He has definitely acclimated to our home and dogs. We have one dog that is very submissive that he gets along fine with and another dog that is a bit dominant and he shows him the proper level of respect. He is doing great with house training. Chico would definitely be happy in a home with another dog. He would be great with kids, but he when he gets very excited, he likes to jump so care would be needed with really young children. He likes his crate and absolutely loves to snuggle with his people on the bed at night. He currently shares the bed with his foster people and two other dogs and does great.
