He came with no vet records or history -- apparently his previous owner just dumped him at the rescue, along with his mother and sister, and drove away! He's quite healthy overall, outside of a little skin infection recently he's on antibiotics.The main problem we are having is at night. He used to sleep with his mom and sister, so we imagine this is contributing to the issue. We decided not to let him sleep in our bed and bought him a doggie bed which we put right next to ours. He in no way is isolated or goes to bed alone, we put him to bed every night when we go up to bed. He's our little shadow. Some nights that's fine, but most nights he wakes up multiple times -- generally right smack in the middle of the night! We'll get a 3am wake-up a 5am wake-up and, finally, the 7am when its all over. Not so much worried about the 7am but sometimes you wanna sleep in on the weekends, ya know? He gets walked 3 times a day and has consistent access to our backyard. And there are some medical conditions that require access to drinking water at all times. But, if your puppy is waking up continually during the night because they need to urinate, speak with your veterinarian to first rule out medical reasons such as a urinary tract infection and then discuss with them whether restricting access to water before and during the night is a good choice for your puppy. My first go-to was this business based on the amazing experience we had the first time. We now live 8 hours away, so there was a lot of texting with pictures and videos. We purchased a new pup in August. She came home with a clean bill of health, however, upon checkup from our local vet, she had some type of infection in her lungs and she had severe ear mites. She was 12 weeks old. I called Patience's Puppies to inform them so they could treat other puppies. There was no offer. Fast forward to recently, I contacted them again looking for a sister for our new pup. There are questions that have yet to be answered. How this person has handled the entire situation is horrendous. I hate giving bad reviews to any business, especially what's considered a local business, but this was uncalled for. We will never do business with Patience Puppies again. I have included screen shots of the entire conversation regarding this matter.
