We are located in beautiful Port Orange, Florida approximately an hour east of Orlando International airport. We are exclusively devoted to raising golden retrievers. The temperament and demeanor of these dogs stole our hearts long ago. In our opinion there is no dog that has a more kind gentle personality than Goldens. We are committed to only raising healthy dogs! Collectively almost 30 years of experience working with golden retrievers and still going! For that reason our dogs are only fed top quality dog food, supplements, and immune boosters. Our breeding dogs also have to meet a high standard of genetic qualities before we even consider breeding them. All of our dogs are genetically clear of Muscular Dystrophy, all eye diseases and free of ICH the skin disorder that is well known to Goldens. Our puppies are all well socialized spending time daily with our family. We utilize and follow the Puppy Culture Program to raise our puppies. Puppies all go to their forever homes with vaccines and wormer up to date. Our veterinarian approves and certifies all puppies with a clean bill of health before you take them home. Additionally our puppies are microchipped before leaving for their forever homes. I am blessed to be home full-time allowing me the time to love and care for our goldens the way they require and deserve. Through many years of homeschooling, our entire family has been involved in one way or another and it has been a very rewarding experience. From our kids to now our grandkids, there is always someone around to help love on puppies! Our Goldens are a part of our everyday life and we cannot imagine owning any other breed! I grew up in 4-H and have always been involved with raising animals. When we lost her in , we purchased our first purebred Golden and immediately fell in love with the breed. Color never reflects temperament and personality so usually most people don't really care too much what color they are. They are all really beautiful. Although there's variation due to the hybrid vigor present as a result of the recombination of genes in many arrays, there is definitely a bernedoodle appearance that is fairly consistent. If you let the hair grow, they will look like big shaggy dogs that you can't help but to give a big hug to. And they enjoy every minute of it! Our Premier Bernedoodles will tend to have wavy curly coats due to the coat types we require in our bernese mountain dogs which helps to minimize or eliminate shedding.We do make sure that our standard poodles do not carry the genetic marker known as the "Improper Coat" allele or IC for short. Wavy curly coats do require a little more grooming as compared to straight, but many, straight coats shed more.Although they are considered to be large, they don't act like a large dog in the house. What's the Difference? An F1b is an F1 standard Bernedoodle backcrossed to a standard poodle or could be a backcross to a Bernese mountain dog but we generally use the poodle as the backcross. An F1bb is an F1b standard Bernedoodle backcrossed to a standard poodle. Behaviorally they are all very similar with the F1b and F1bb's being slightly smaller than our F1 standards and tend to have slightly curlier coats to a tight wave.
