She is currently in training to help with her aggression towards visitors, door-knockers. .She is doing very good with Randi training her and there will be more training scheduled. Nikki knows commands! When we go on walks she is selective-sometimes she wags her tail and passes by them, a few times she has lunged towards them but she corrects easily with a stern "That's enough! She appears interested like she wants to join in on the fun Her favorite game Is fetch. She loves To Go "Bye-Bye" in the car. She also loves to get loved on, belly rubs, brushed, snuggles. She is terrified of thunderstorms- Nikki tried hiding under her previous foster's bed but she couldn't fit. To calm her down, they made a pallet on the floor and then draped a blanket so it was like a tent. They also laid with her and she calmed down and fell asleep. She is afraid of vacuum cleaner, but just give her a toy or bone and she lays on the bed while running the vacuum Nikki can be trusted and have free roam of the house when she is left alone but if she goes to a home with other dogs we recommend kenneling. I brought it up with Gary that evening when we went to the cafeteria to grab a bite. When I throw the ball, he brings it back. Simply having him lie next to her comforted her. And it was just goldens she responded to. A golden retriever. Way beyond our budget. We were living paycheck to paycheck. And we lived in an apartment with no yard—not the kind of place for a big, active dog. Besides the initial cost, there would be food and vet bills. He wanted Hailey to be healthy and happy as much as I did. But he was practical. I already worked full-time taking care of a child with disabilities, an ideal job because I could watch Hailey at the same time. Hailey kept talking the whole time about her dog: what she would name it, how much she would love it. At one point, the anesthesiologist had to tell her to slow down and take a breath. The surgery went smoothly, and three days later Hailey came home. But the journey to get her dog was only just beginning. I picked up odd jobs. This is a multi-generational breed meaning there are a few ways that this particular hybrid can be bred. It is also possible to have a puppy from a Malshipoo and any other parent breeds. These dogs are a small breed that can be quite different from each other in appearance depending on the combination of breeds that their parents are.
