Over the course of two years we then sought out the perfect pairing to produce our first F1 generation Australian Mountain Doodle litter in .We truly hit the Jackpot with our first litter from Willow and Jack! We are now working towards perfecting a Multigen Australian Mountain Doodle line and hope to continue to spread the word about our newfound love, the AMD! Most Australian Mountain Doodles tend to shed very little if any at all straighter coats can be prone to more shedding. Our Multigenerational Australian Mountain Doodles are recommended for those with mild pet allergies. An Australian Mountain Doodle's coat is different than a double coated dog and can be shaved without damaging the hair. We recommend daily brushing and professional grooming every weeks to avoid tangles and matting. Tricolor Australian Mountain Doodles are either Black or Choclate and White with the traditional copper trim along their face, legs, chest, and above the eyes. Merle Australian Mountain Doodles are either Blue or Chocolate Merle and White with copper trim along their face, legs, chest, and above the eyes. Females tend to be smaller than males. Generally, Our "Mini" category is 19" at the shoulder and under while our "Medium" category is 20" at the shoulder and up. They make great family dogs and generally do well with kids of all ages. Training must be done with rewards, firmness, patience and consistency. Basic training should start as soon as you take your Australian Mountain Doodle puppy home. They will require mental stimulation to prevent boredom and destruction in the home. They have a medium energy level and are perfect for those who like outdoor activities or one who prefers to lounge around the house. Australian Bernedoodle Highlights The Australian Bernedoodle is protective, intelligent, and loving — qualities that make them one amazing family pet. The Australian Bernedoodle is a smart dog, however, they are often stubborn. Consistency is key when training this breed. Daily training sessions that last minutes any longer can cause disinterest and backfire as far as creating progress are key to helping this breed retain good manners and stay on track. Basic obedience classes may help get this breed the jump-start they need. The Australian Bernedoodle is not always a good fit for beginner dog owners, due to their high energy and complex needs. Ideally, dog parents will have some past experience with other highly intelligent breeds such as the Border Collie, as their stubbornness can be challenging. Without proper stimulation, the Australian Bernedoodle will grow bored and frustrated- regardless of how much love there is for them. Additionally, this breed can develop separation anxiety. Dog parents who are frequently home or able to bring pups to work are a good match for this breed, although not a requirement. This breed still craves mental stimulation they can find through training, scentwork activities, and other forms of enrichment. These breeds can be prone to behaviors humans find frustrating, like excessive barking and chewing. When understimulated, they will make it endlessly clear they are bored. All parent breeds, however, are well known and loved. The Poodle is one of the oldest breeds developed specifically for hunting waterfowl. Most historians agree that the Poodle originated in Germany, but developed into their own breed in France. Many believe that the breed is the result of crosses between several European water dogs, including Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hungarian, and Russian water dogs. Although the Standard was used for duck hunting, the smaller varieties had use as well — while many kept them as lapdogs, they were also talented truffle hunters. The Poodle Club of America was founded in , but disbanded shortly thereafter. Poodle enthusiasts reestablished the club in .The Labrador Retriever originates from the island of Newfoundland, off the northeastern Atlantic coast of Canada. First known as St. Today, their working dog usage can be as a skilled hunting and retrieving dog, or for tasks such as service dog work or drug-sniffing dogs. The Bernese Mountain Dog is a versatile working dog originating from the farmlands of Switzerland. During World War I, dog shows and breeding took a backseat to war efforts, where dogs were prioritized. But after the war, Bernese Mountain Dogs were exported, first to Holland, then to the United States — although the breed was not yet recognized by the American Kennel Club. They have no breed standard, so their coats may be found in a variation of colors from their combination of parent breeds. They will usually have a thick but curly or wavy-haired coat, along with floppy, curly-haired ears. This crossbreed is predominantly solid yellow, black, tricolor, or merle, but various color combinations are possible. Without exposure, this devoted breed has the potential to become reactive to perceived threats. Training any dog consistently when young will ultimately improve their quality of life and yours as an adult. If your dog suddenly displays aggressive behavior, like biting, without a warning, a vet visit is in order to rule out physical causes. Australian Bernedoodle Health If the Australian Bernedoodle originates from a responsible breeder, they are often healthy. However, there are some genetic predispositions towards health issues to be aware of with this crossbreed. Crossbreeding, even in designer dog breeds, does reduce the risk of ailments common in purebred dogs. However, there is also fewer reputable breeders of Doodle crosses, as there are no breed standards and few organizations to hold breeders accountable. Hip Dysplasia. Much like their parent breeds, it is important to keep in mind that Australian Bernedoodles require firm yet gentle training. They are intelligent and eager to please. Basic training should begin as soon as you bring your Australian Bernedoodle puppy home. Just remember that patience and consistency will be key! When the parents are carefully selected and paired together, the higher the Bernedoodle generations F1b, F2, multigen bred to a true multigen Australian Labradoodle are generally non-shedding. If you are looking into investing in either one of the breeds, try checking out your local shelters to see if you can adopt one. They are generally much cheaper, and it is always a bonus to give a pup home. The blend of the Boston Terrier with the English Bulldog is not as popular and harder to find in a shelter. Make sure when you are purchasing a Boston Bulldog from a breeder that you check out the health of the parent pups. Ask to see veterinary reports and evidence of health checks. No reputable breeder will refuse this, especially. Any English Bulldog mix is going to be gassy. The anatomy of the English Bulldog is to blame for this, unfortunately, although their diet can play a role as well. Bulldogs fart excessively because they tend to have highly sensitive stomachs. Their digestive system does not digest food well and causes consistently upset stomachs. Instead of having a longer muzzle, they have flatter faces that make it difficult for them to eat at a consistent pace. They tend to eat quickly and improperly, taking in far too much air at the same time as their food. Diet factors into their farty behavior as well. All the muscle hides a sensitive soul. They are a pup of averages between the two parent breeds in their build, energy levels, and health. Even though they are agile, they still have a more muscular build than other dogs that share a similar height. Even with the muscles, English Boston-Bulldogs have sensitive souls. The tender-hearted dogs are alert to the emotions running in the air around them and should be treated with patience. Being left alone for extended amounts of time leads to sadness and sometimes even depression. Although these dogs can have a stubborn streak, remember their sensitivity during training. You will get the best response out of them with a firm hand coupled with patience and kindness. Even with a mutually bloody past, the blend of these two dogs makes for a mellow companion. Both the English Bulldog and the Boston Terrier have rather gruesome histories. Unlike breeds like the Pit Bull or Rottweiler, however, they have lost most of the aggressive reputation that typically comes with a bloody past. Most of this is because of their sweet dispositions. The Boston Terrier is one of the few breeds developed in America. They came from breeds that were pit fighter dogs originating in Boston, Massachusetts. These dogs were made to be small but fierce. In the late s, the wealthy began to have some of these dogs interbred to create the Boston Terrier, although the Terrier part is not through any relation to the family. The English Bulldog initially comes from the Mastiff family, having specific relations to the Asiatic Mastiff. This Mastiff was much bigger than dogs in the Mastiff family today. English Bulldogs were bred from these dogs to be smaller yet still muscular. Since then, however, both of the breeds have become beloved companion dogs with mellow, happy personalities. They take everything in stride, and as long as they are with their beloved owners, they are happy to be taken around or live in a wide variety of different living situations. However, as they start to age, they quickly begin to mellow out and calm down. They always retain their curious nature and goofy personality, though. This makes them an excellent, lower-maintenance dog breed. Some people say that Boston-Bulldogs make good watchdogs because of their alertness. However, they will need a good deal of training because they are friendly and enjoy being around people, strangers or no. Are These Dogs Good for Families? They are patient and sweet, making them excellent dogs for families with kids. They have a heavier build that makes it harder for them to be inappropriately handled by kids, keeping them a safer dog for kids. However, most people will be pleased to know that Boston-Bulldogs typically get along well with other animals. Get them used to other animals, and brush up on their social skills by having them around new people and taking them out to dog parks. Those who share this version of the story consider the Olde Boston Bulldogge as the original Boston Bulldog, a dog resulting from the cross between Bulldogs and Terriers in the s and bred for pest control, guarding, but also for companionship. The most accepted version of the facts considers the Boston Bulldog as a crossbreed, a hybrid dog that is half Boston Terrier, half English Bulldog. While the origin of this crossbreed is unknown, it probably originated in the Boston area, in Massachusetts USA in the early s for fighting and hunting purposes. The English Bulldog Hailing from the United Kingdom, English Bulldogs were originally bred as fighting dogs for bullbaiting and bull-holding. When these cruel activities were banned in the early 19th century, the breed was developed to create a more affectionate and non-aggressive dog that turned into a popular pet and mascot among the British. The breed has been recognised in the end of the 19th century by the American Kennel Club and the first dogs being mixed were from Boston, thus the breed designation. Once bred to be pit fighter dogs, Boston Terriers are now considered friendly and gentle pets. They make great therapy dogs and excel in sports, such as agility and obedience. Boston Bulldogs have short, fine, and soft hair that comes in a variety of colors, including brown, black, white, red, fawn, and tuxedo a color pattern occurring when dogs are one color, with a white patch on the chest, chin, and feet. Trainability People-oriented, loyal, and intelligent, Boston Bulldogs gather all the traits that make a dog easy to train.
