Using treats, he can learn new skills quickly and he's very eager to please. Prince is a big manly-man of a dog on the outside however on the inside he's a soft, sensitive cuddly marshmallow. He loves being outside and exploring the world and really looks to his person for guidance. He has a very big spirit and reminds us how wonderful and exciting life can be and to value every minute! Ideal home? As mentioned, he is not a low energy dog who will be content with playing in the back yard. Low energy people need not apply. This boy wants to go out, hike, walk, run, and engage in outdoor activities. A home who would be open to introducing Prince to some fun canine sports would be great but not necessary. Someone with knowledge of canine sports would be awesome! Prince's ideal home would be one that promotes a "zen" environment between all the fun outdoor stuff. He can forget he has a shut off switch and would love a human that will help him find it when needed. Due to his super duper party mentality, Prince would like a home that has a calm environment without a lot of stimulation in the home. A home where he could be the star and not have to share with other animals would be the best. Considering Prince for adoption? Dilbert is a very distinguished gentleman. He is a calm and gentle soul. He is crate trained and potty trained. Dilbert loves chilling with his people. He prefers people to dogs, but may be able to exist with another dog. Dilbert is currently in home with other dogs, but is crate rotated and not reactive to the other dogs. He is easy to walk and great on leash with no reactivity. Dilbert enjoys car rides and is the best co-pilot! We are testing him with other dogs but currently would love if he could be the only dog in the household to live out his golden years showered with attention. Dilbert may have a cruciate ligament issue but at his age we treat the symptoms to keep him comfortable. He is still very active at this point in his life. It does not impact him at all on the day to day. They only time you might notice it is after sleeping or sitting for long periods, he may slightly limp until he walks it out. It is difficult to predict these coats as young puppies due to observing a puppy coat vs. Miniature Bernedoodle Temperament The miniature bernedoodle may be more active than the larger Bernedoodle breeds due to the toy or miniature poodle being more of an active breed. They are a highly recommended family dog breed and are tremendous with children due to carrying the genes of the affectionate, loving Bernese mountain dog. While intelligence simplifies training in the mini bernedoodle it can work in a negative sense as well. If training is neglected you may see bad habits develop earlier than in breeds that may not be known to be as intelligent. Therefore it is highly recommended to start training at an early age and be consistent in training exercises. Health Health is possibly the greatest attribute in the F1 mini bernedoodle. Being a smaller size hybrid cross they are the least likely to inherit congenital health problems, with the likelihood of hip or elbow dysplasia being greatly reduced due to the much smaller size.
