While Princess Pancakes is adorable, you may want to stick with a name that is short and sweet — this will maintain their focus! Avoid offensive or negatively connotated words for names. Save the cutesy, or far-out-there names for nicknames. Do your best to avoid names that may be confused with commands. You might consider training your retriever with hand signals rather than words just to be on the safe side! Test out the name. Check out the different tones by saying the name sternly, sweetly, and excitedly. The more ways you say it, the more it might start to sound like the right fit. Think of the personality your puppy has or is likely to have. Let your pup get comfortable in their new environment so their personality can shine before picking out a name for them. Pick a name and stick with it. The last thing you want to do is confuse your puppy. Have your puppy learn their name before introducing any nicknames. Tips Gifting your Golden Retriever a Good Name A few tips for giving your Golden a good name is to keep it somewhat simple; you want your new furry friend to be able to understand his or her name for training purposes and to develop a closer bond. If the name is too complex for your Golden, they may have a more difficult and confusing time during training and it may create a rift between the two of you because it becomes difficult to communicate. If you have children, it is beneficial for them to be able to articulate the name as well, so they may find it easier to play with your Golden Retriever dog, help take him or her on walks, or teach him or her a new trick! We named her after a Lalique Crystal Sugar. Her name was totally a reflection of her sweet lovely personality.

Gender: Female Vaccinated: Yes A sweet little puppy is looking for her forever home. We got this puppy some time ago, but unfortunately, although the puppy is very kind to her, our 3-year-old cat does not take the opportunity to accept a new family member. It is difficult for us to let this sweetheart go, but out of respect for the puppy and the cat, they would be better to live their best lives in separate homes. During this short period of time, we taught her to pee and poo outside, and how to sit. She has learned how to walk on a leash, and she is gradually becoming comfortable with other people and dogs. She is very playful, kind, and loves cuddles a lot. She is curious to interact with children but still hesitates before approaching them. She is a wonderful family member that needs an owner with a big heart, time, and patience. Since she is still a baby, we usually walk her multiple times during the day, and she now becomes vocal and lets you know that it's time to take her out. Due to her breed, she becomes attached to people and often craves their attention, so it would be better to keep her near you during the night to prevent her from feeling lonely unfortunately, we cannot accommodate this need due to our cat. She is very intelligent and learns quickly, as long as you remain patient and kind to her. Please note that we would prefer to meet with the future owner before giving the pup away. The pup is very dear to our hearts, and we want to ensure she will be safe in her new environment with people who love her. She is up to date on her shots and will come with Vet Records. Estimated weight range for these pups will be lbs. If you want a companion that has the energy to go for runs, hikes, or long walks, but is also a highly skilled couch potato - this is the perfect mix for you. The mix of Malinois also makes for an incredibly intelligent dog with the goofy playfulness of the American bulldog. Pups will come with first round of shots, dewormer, and a puppy care package including some kibble to help you transition and a blanket that smells like Mom. Prices are firm for this gorgeous, sweet, and intelligent breed. Looking for experienced dog owners that will give these little guys the most loving forever homes. Text Rebecca at .Riverside, CA About We only produce a litter for the purpose of improving on what we have and always keep a puppy or two, we always reserve the top picks for our selves from each breeding. Some years we produce no pups and others we may have a few litters, we are not a large kennel and don't keep many dogs ourselves as we like them all to have plenty of time with us in and out of the house. Many of our dogs, especially our studs are raised and live with our friends and we co own or keep breeding rights on them this has proved to work out really well for both us the dog's and there new family. All of our pups are born and raised in our home and all of our dogs are family members that will live out there lives with us,they are not retired to live with strangers or sold on to someone who wants to have a few litters out of them but remain with us for as long as they are around.I can honestly say I have never sold an adult American Bulldog on to another "breeder". .I really don't agree with passing dog's around especially bulldogs. .Contact Bybee American Bulldogs. A woman came to one of our volunteers front steps and stated she found him. He reeked of urine, and had a chewed up rope around his neck. He was skin and bones and bleeding all over from 3rd degree burns and scratching. Two separate vets came to the conclusion that he most likely has chemical burns running from head to tail. Someone poured what appears to be battery acid down his back. He has now been with us for a month and a half. When reported to SPCA no one claimed him. This tragic backstory was not a match for our Silver though. His faith in humans has not wavered and he was the star of our kissing booth with his gentle demeanour when taking treats and being squished with hugs from the children. He will make an amazing family dog. He cannot however be around other dogs as he will act fine, seem friendly but reacts when pushed to his limit. He is a very jealous dog and wants his humans all to himself! Can you blame him? He deserves all the love of a family to himself! After what he has been through, we will make sure he gets just that! He is going to need someone who can give a lot of attention to his medical needs however. Since he has been with his foster, they have been struggling with finding a food that will not cause Silver to break out into hives. They have been eliminating proteins and following the vets advice however it is going to be a long life of finding out what he can have including cooking home made meals for him and what he cannot as he will scratch and chew on himself until he bleeds. Silver has shown to be very intelligent. He has learned sit and knows to go on his bed and wait for permission to eat while his meal sits in front of him. He is learning what toys are and the joys of playing with them. He is walking very well on leash, but still learning as he gets excited when he sees other dogs. He wins the award for the best snuggles on the couch or in bed. If you have children that dont have a stuffed animal, Silver will gladly fill that gap. Putting in an application does not mean that the dog is guaranteed to you. Please be patient as we are volunteers. He is sweet, silly, snuggly, and ridiculously cute. He is just about everything that is good in a dog. Petey loves to entertain himself and others with his playful attitude and his puppy-like antics. He loves to start each day with a happy morning wiggle dance, and he will perform encores throughout the day. Petey is an affectionate fellow. He only gives occasional kisses, but loves to get close to you; nuzzle you; lean; poke at you with his front feet as boxers do; and when he is feeling silly which is often! He is accustomed to sleeping in bed with a person and snuggling all night. Truthfully, he can get away without it inside the home because he is an easy, good boy to live with! However, he is overly excited out in the world, on walks, in the car, and seeing new people and animals, so he would benefit from some guidance to help him behave calmly in those situations. At this point, meeting people is extremely exciting, but meeting dogs is just too overwhelming for him to handle. Petey had a dramatic entrance into rescue, as he was pulled from the shelter while he was suffering from bloat a medical emergency fatal within hours. Pulling a dog in critical condition, when we know the cost will be tremendous and a good outcome far from guaranteed, requires a leap of faith. The shelter vet bought Petey time by puncturing his stomach to decompress the gas that was building up. Within an hour of first being contacted by the shelter, a flurry of communication had occurred, an NCBR volunteer darted to the shelter, delivered Petey to an emergency vet, and Petey was being prepped for surgery. But we are overjoyed to say that Petey made it through surgery and is now recovering in the hospital. If not, here is the form! His love and compassion for Boxers was felt by those who had the pleasure of spending time with him. Ken loved sports and spending time with friends. He also collected sports memorabilia and other collectibles like Hot Wheels. He truly loved Milo, featured in the the photo with him. Every time we received a message from him he included a picture of him and Milo. He never gave up hope that some treatment would be the ultimate cure. He worked as long as he could and made his journey to the light in late June. His weakened system just couldn't fight any longer. He will be deeply missed by WCBR, and we wish his family peace with his loss. Thank you to so many who have donated to WCBR in his memory. Ken will forever be in our hearts. We need your help. The number of Boxers being surrendered by families and in the shelters is overwhelming. We continue to receive owner surrenders a week, along with multiple pleas from surrounding shelters for Boxers in need. So many Boxer are coming from families that are no longer able to financially care for them, just don't want them, many are dealing with illness or the Boxer's pet parent has passed away, and many just are moving. Without the funding or foster homes, sadly we have to turn away these surrenders. Please Foster, Fund or be a Forever Home. Petey Donor Spotlight: Doreen Murotsune For many of us who give our hearts, time, or dollars to rescue, we are first inspired by the love of a single special dog. Hana belonged to friends of Doreen, but Doreen and her boxer, Benjamin, fell in love with her. Benjamin and Hana were best friends, and Benjamin was always on the lookout for Hana and ready to protect her from any yappy Chihuahua who tried to intimidate her. In addition to being an active Strut Your Mutt teammate for each of the past 5 years, Doreen browses the boxers in our care and sponsors many dogs whose stories warm her heart. She not only sponsors dogs with single or repeat financial gifts, but also inquires about dogs with prescription diet needs and then purchases those diets on an autoship schedule, having the food mailed directly to foster homes. Silver Tan Any of these colors make for a stunning dog visually. The black tips seem to fade into the base color giving the coat a one-of-a-kind look. It means that the hair has at least two different colors of pigmentation. Agouti is considered a wild type of phenotype: The set of observable characteristics of an individual resulting from the interaction of its genotype with the environment. This means that the coloring of the fur is caused by a mutation in the gene formation. It is not a mix but a variation of the breed standard. It is listed as an accepted color by the AKC. Exactly just how rare they are is unknown, but the rarest form is the all black version. It lacks the two-tone hairs but still carries the sable genes. When it comes to overall colors, the Isabella German Shepherd is considered the rarest. They are very hard to find and have a beautiful blue and liver coat. However they are not a true color but a mutation. When Sable GSD puppies are born, they a rich dark brown color. They will then begin to lighten up into a sandy type of color. The color will gradually change and at 4 to 5 months old, they will start to revert back to the darker color until they reach their full color of black, gray, red, silver or tan sable. Some people believe that you can predict the pattern by examining certain parts of their body. Pattern Indicators: Dark pin stripes in between their toes. Stripe running down their front legs. Jet black hair on the belly and chest. Even then, it is very hard to tell just how dark they are going to be when they grow into an adult. Their color can continue to change up until the age of three. The pedigree is a good indicator of future coat patterns. Color genetics in German Shepherds can be a bit confusing. But in order to produce the pattern one parent must at least carry one Sable allele. In addition, some believe that some black must be present to produce the darker version. There are three possible combinations that they can carry. Homozygous Dominant Two copies of dominant allele Homozygous Recessive Two copies of recessive allele Heterozygous One dominant and one recessive allele Black is a recessive gene. The others are dominant. Here is a chart to help explain the genetics: Parent 1. Contact Us for litters and reservations for litters. That said, while it can be done, I strongly urge anyone who lives in an apartment to think carefully about how much time and work it can be to keep a large, working dog in an apartment. I will not sell a puppy to anyone who lives in an apartment and leaves the dog home alone all day. At least one person needs to be home during the day. The dog needs to be taken outside to play at least once a day and taken for potty breaks many times EVERY day. Also, please check with your apartments rules on German Shepherds; some complexes do not allow them. New strains of the Parvo Virus are abundant and it is my job to keep puppies safe. I use a high titer Parvo Vaccine at 4 weeks but this may not protect all puppies. So please understand as much as you would like to visit with your puppies as they grow I can no longer allow this until they are 7 weeks. I will send out emails with pictures or videos weekly. No outside dogs are allowed at anytime. Thank you for understanding how important it is for me to keep the puppies safe. If you do visit other breeders, please do so on a different day that you visit. Von Ward Kennels will take back any puppy at any time in their lives if their owners can no longer care for them. As long as the dog needs a new home and another opportunity to belong to a family, the Village, without questions, accepts it into its fold. Any Frenchie is welcome, regardless of whether the dog is healthy or has behavioral problems or medical conditions requiring assistance and attention. And like all rescue groups, they also aim to rehome French Bulldogs after rescue and rehabilitation. Their rescues come from different sources. This includes Frenchies that owners surrender personally, those brought to the local pound and shelters, stray dogs, import brokers, commercial breeding kennels, and other private rescue groups. In particular circumstances, Short Mugs can get rescues from Louisiana and Oklahoma but only from these areas. The reason behind this is all the volunteers of Short Mugs are situated in Texas. Dogs up for adoption are also posted on their website, but these are not the entirety of the rescues as some are still being treated and rehabilitated. The adoption process varies based on the number of dogs for release and the number of interested individuals. They would make claims that weren't true and let puppies go to their homes when they were too young, not checked by a vet, or sick. Breeding wasn't restricted to a credible goldendoodle registry. She started researching ways to make the breed better and ran across a miniature Australian Labradoodle at a park in Boise, Idaho. She was thrilled to see the requirements to register the Australian Labradoodle and the gentle nature of the breed. The intent was to create a breed that was allergy and asthma friendly with the temperament of a service dog. The journey was inspired by a vision impaired woman in Hawaii who needed a Guide Dog which wouldn't aggravate her husband's allergies. For years, Cyndi has refused to breed labradoodles because the Lab is a working dog. The distinction is the Australian labradoodle has a service dog temperament which is fantastic for families. Any text will do. With decades of experience, we have been breeding the finest Labradoodles and providing families with loving, healthy, and well-socialized puppies. What is the breeding process at Snowy River Doodles? Our breeding program focuses on producing puppies with excellent temperaments, sound health, and beautiful coats. We carefully select our breeding dogs from top-quality lines, ensuring the highest standards in health and temperament. Our puppy has begun potty training and crate training. What does that mean? We use a litter box placed in their pen starting at three weeks of age and gradually make the pen larger as they begin to recognize the potty area. This trains the puppies to potty in one area. When you go home, that area will be outside. At six weeks, they begin spending time outside. At this time, they also start eating at least one meal a day in a crate by themselves and they spend some time in a crate for a few hours during the day. We put an old towel and chew toy in the crate with them. Do you ship? No, we no longer ship puppies. We feel that there are enough labradoodle breeders across the country to find one locally and there is no need to put a puppy through this stressful process. I am willing to meet owners at the Philadelphia or Harrisburg Airport if you wish to fly in and take your puppy back home with you under your seat. Please inquire if you are interested in this. There are additional fees and requirements. Our Labradoodle puppies are raised in a loving home environment where they receive early socialization and basic training. We introduce them to various sounds, surfaces, and experiences to ensure they are well-adjusted and prepared for life with their new families. Can I visit Snowy River Doodles to meet the puppies and their parents? At Snowy River, we prioritize the health and safety of our puppies. Only families with deposits will be able to visit once puppies are 6 weeks old. And meet the parents at that time. His parents are Tally and Huey. Tina was very responsive throughout the adoption process and you can tell she really cares about her dogs and where the puppies go. Eli has a huge personality and is such a sweetheart. Training was pretty easy as he is super smart. He adapted well when we added our daughter in and is very patient with her. We love our Eli so much and he has added so much to our little family. Thank you Tina for the best companion and snuggle buddy. He is smart, funny and still, at 6 years old, very mischievous! He is the second doodle I got from Snowy River Labradoodles. Sadly his brother, Baxter has crossed the rainbow bridge. They have the most wonderful temperament and are just so much fun. Tina does a wonderful job working with the puppies and is such a pleasure to deal with. There has never been and never will be another dog like her! She smiles at us, she stands up and hugs us when we get home, she brings pure happiness to everyone she meets! She is a little more timid when going out in public so pet therapy is not in her future career. She is still the sweetest! She comes around and gives everyone in our family love, not missing anyone. When you arrive home, she always goes and grabs her babies to show you. She knows so many tricks and was so easy to teach! Our year-old daughter taught her sit, roll over, shake, jump through a hula hoop, tell a secret, weave between your legs, high five and even how to push a button to ask for a treat. She likes to put on dog shows for our company! We really did our research before purchasing our first doodle and man did we choose right when we came to you! We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts! His breeding program focuses on improving the health and well-being of the breed by selecting breedable parents with the best traits to produce healthy, multi-generational Labradoodle puppies. He also begins crate training each puppy at five weeks. In addition to getting microchipped, socialized, vaccinated, and dewormed, each puppy goes home with ALAA registration and a two-year health guarantee. Limited Litter Availability Ethical breeders usually limit the number of litters their breedable Labradoodle mothers produce each year to ensure that each puppy gets equal attention as their littermates. This protocol lets the mothers get months of rest before producing their next litter or retiring. Limited litter production also applies to breeders who specialize in breeding other designers Doodles. Health Prioritization Reputable breeders offering Labradoodle puppies for sale in PA should get their dogs tested for several hereditary health issues to avoid producing litters with potentially unhealthy puppies. Although Labradoodles are a generally hardy dog breed, they can become susceptible to eye, hip, elbow, knee, and cardiac diseases. Experience with the Breed The best Labradoodle breeders should have extensive knowledge and experience working with the breed they can relay to first-time owners with countless questions. The time it takes to bring your puppy home after filling out an application can vary depending on where you look. I was very lucky in that my breeder had a litter of puppies available at the time I was looking for one. In fact, I spotted an advert for puppies on Facebook, and I was able to go and view them right away. At the time, the pups were only four weeks old, so I did have to wait for four weeks until they were old enough to leave their mother and had received their first vaccinations. That time gave me a chance to buy everything I needed for the new arrival and to puppy-proof as best I could my home and garden. Your life will suddenly get a whole lot busier once your furbaby lands! We made a list of ethical breeders from nearby states, which you can try:. Life Span Did You Know? Second-generation crosses could include a Labradoodle and a Mini Poodle or two Mini Labradoodles as parents. This hybrid dog breed was originally developed to create smaller potential service dogs that might be a good fit for people with allergies to dog fur. With a mixed breed, you can end up with any combination of traits from the parent breeds. Often, Mini Labradoodles are smart, friendly, and sociable dogs that are highly trainable. They are often found working as service dogs and therapy dogs and living as beloved family companions. Although they are not recognized by the AKC, the Mini Labradoodle is recognized by other canine registries. A Mini Labradoodle is a combination of two friendly dog breeds that crave human affection and are always happy to have company. These dogs also tend to have playful, energetic personalities and low prey drives. Well-socialized Mini Labradoodles tend to get along well with children, other dogs, and other pets. Due to their smaller size, these dogs can be injured by accidental rough play or accidental falls, so any interactions between young kids and puppies should be closely supervised. Miniature Labradoodles will usually bark to alert you when someone is at the door, but generally are not prone to nuisance barking unless they have been trained into it. It may not be a bad idea to train your dog to stop barking early on. Well-socialized Mini Labradoodles may be initially wary of strangers, but tend to warm up quickly and will often be happy to make a new friend. Miniature Labradoodles are highly adaptable. Provided they get enough exercise, attention, and mental stimulation, they can adapt well to apartments as well as larger homes. They tend to do best in moderate climates, but can tolerate warmer or colder climates. As with any dog, they are sensitive to heat. Although they tend to have a fluffier coat, they are also smaller and may need to bundle up in some winter dog products to stay warm while out on walks in the cold. Mini Labradoodles are also very much companion breeds. They bond closely with their families and thrive on being near them, so they do not like to be left alone for long periods of time. The health of the parents and good breeding practices make a big difference in the health of Mini Labradoodle puppies. Reputable breeders will screen their dogs to avoid passing preventable issues to puppies. Make sure you are asking the breeder about the health and genetic history of both parents. You can also ask about any health tests or clearances that have been done to help allay any concerns you may have. Miniature Labradoodles tend to be highly intelligent and eager to please. This generally makes them easy to train and a good fit for owners of all experience levels. In fact, their parent breeds are considered some of the best dog breeds for first-time owners. These dogs respond best to consistent training and positive reinforcement. Puppy training classes can ensure that owners of any experience level learn the latest training techniques and start building a strong bond with their puppy. Grooming requirements with a Mini Labradoodle can vary. On the Poodle side, you have a low-shedding, but high-maintenance, coat that needs daily brushing along with trimming and grooming every weeks. On the Lab side, you have a higher shedding coat that is more low-maintenance, requiring some weekly brushing or brushing a few times a week and intermittent bathing. Overall, Mini Labradoodles range from having a non- to low-shedding coat. They can have one coat type or the other, or a combination of both of them. So, you will want to be prepared for brushing a coat a few times a week and the possibility of more grooming needs. Regardless of coat type, there are some other general grooming tasks you can count on. Regular dental care for your dog will help prevent serious dental issues like gum disease and tooth decay later in life. This is especially important for dog breeds with floppy ears as they are more prone to developing ear infections. Miniature Labradoodles can be high-energy dogs. In general, they require daily walks plus some playtime and extra activity to be happy and healthy. Since they love to be around their family and can have an exuberant and outgoing personality, they will likely be up for more playtime if you are. This little dog may get tired more easily at times and could push themselves too far in their excitement. On the other hand, they may just keep going and going with no signs of slowing down. What is most important is making sure your Miniature Labradoodle gets enough exercise and mental stimulation. Fully-grown Mini Labradoodles usually stand inches tall and weigh pounds. Miniature Labradoodles generally live for years on average. Featured Mini Labradoodle Article.

To accomplish these goals, further development was done with parent breed infusions added to the already blooming Labrador x Poodle cross lines. The developers of the breed sought out the best way in which to compliment the Australian Labradoodle breed, and to develop the authentic qualities that they find and love in these dogs. Both of its parents come from breeds that are used as hunting dogs. Therefore, they are not qualified to join the said club. There is little information about the exact origin of this designer breed. But it is believed that the Hungarian Vizsla Labrador mix was first bred when the Hungarian Vizsla dog was brought to the United States. This was most likely by the time World War II was coming to an end. Many years later, the interest in the breed began to escalate because of its amazing hunting abilities. The Vizsla was originally bred 1, years ago in Hungary as a hunting companion. That was its main purpose due to its dominant instinct to point and retrieve. Labrador Retrievers, on the other hand, date back to the s in Newfoundland in Canada. These dogs were owned by fishermen, and their main purpose was to retrieve fish that had fallen from fishing hooks and pull back nets filled with fish. These two breeds share many similarities when it comes to their temperaments. This results in an offspring that will grow up to be highly intelligent, hardworking, and capable of being a hunting and working dog. It may look like a Vizsla with the features of a Labrador or the other way around. However, they typically have V-shaped ears, dark-colored noses, and short, straight coats. They either have a muscular or a thin and tall physique. Their coat colors can be rust, fawn, golden, cream, or black. They may also inherit the chocolate brown color of the Labrador. Moreover, this hybrid can also have either brown or amber eyes, depending on the parent breeds. A Vizsla Chocolate Lab mix is one of the most unique and eye-catching mixed dogs you can find. In spite of that, when they are mixed together, their offspring make up this perfect blend of physical features that looks beautifully balanced. For a male Vizsla Lab mix, it can grow at around 22 to 26 inches tall and weigh between 60 and 80 pounds. Since both the Vizsla and Labrador are considered medium-sized breeds, we can expect that the Vizsla Lab mix puppy will fully grow with a similar height and weight. Even this hybrid dog can walk around in an apartment-living kind of area. However, it can be an advantage if you own a house with a backyard. As long as they have an area they can freely run around to, and they are regularly taken outside for a trip or a long walk with their humans, they will be just fine and satisfied. They are amazing with young ones as well since they are playful, loving, and have gentle behavior. Being high-energy dogs that they are, they will certainly enjoy activities that allow them to run around and explore, like going on hikes, walks, or jogs with their humans. They are easy to please because they are eager to learn and love human interaction, which makes them very sociable to anyone of any age. They may exhibit signs of separation anxiety because they love to be clingy and snuggly with their humans. When you own Vizsla Lab mix puppies, you have to make sure to provide them continuous attention and training for them to develop good social skills as they grow. Unfortunately, they are still prone to a few health problems. Here are some common health issues in Vizsla Lab mixes you should know about: Hip Dysplasia: This is a skeletal condition common in the parent breeds that affects the hip joints. Vizsla Lab mix dogs that develop hip dysplasia may have difficulty moving and walking. As these affected parts deteriorate, the pain becomes more intense, resulting in immobility. Hip and elbow dysplasia may also be a possible combination. Epilepsy: Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterized by sudden seizures due to an abnormality in the brain. Sebaceous Adenitis: This is a common inflammatory skin problem in Vizslas. Since the Vizsla Lab mix has a short double coat, they are prone to this disease. This results in hair loss along with drying and scaling of the skin, mostly affecting the trunk, head, and ears. Progressive Retinal Atrophy PRA : Even though considered a minor issue, progressive retinal atrophy is a group of degenerative diseases that alters the photoreceptor cells. When your Vizsla Lab mix dog has this disease, this may lead to partial to complete blindness if the cells continue to degrade. Some health problems tend to be inevitable due to genetics. But as long as you are well aware of where you got your Vizsla Lab mix pups and you take good care of them, they will develop little to no health issues. This will also help to ensure that the future lineage will have healthy genes. Vizsla Labs are happy puppies, but they turn into curious and energetic adults that require a great deal of love and commitment. Vizsla Labs are loving and loyal dogs that create strong bonds, especially with children. The Vizsla Lab mix has been assigned multiple different names by breeders and dog clubs throughout the years. The Vizsla Lab mix takes after both their parent breeds when it comes to spending time in the water. These dogs can efficiently hunt waterfowl. These dogs can do more than hunt and spend time in the family home. Like their parent breeds, they can be excellent service and rescue dogs with the right training. They love playing in the yard during the day and enjoy nothing more than a long snuggle when it is time to settle down in the evening. The Vizsla Lab is intelligent and easy to train, but training should be ongoing throughout their life to ensure proper behavior at home and out in public. Their happy-go-lucky personality makes them an awesome playmate for children. They can even handle a little teasing from the younger kids without getting aggressive or pushy. Their agile bodies make them efficient when it comes to breaking out of fenced yards. But if they are trained to stay inside their contained yard, they will usually cooperate. All in all, Vizsla Labs are well-rounded dogs that can adapt to a wide range of environments and situations. Are These Dogs Good for Families? They like to please and are rarely aggressive, so they can be trusted to behave in the chaotic and loud setting that kids are good at creating. They can get too excited when young kids are acting rowdy, though, which could result in an accidental injury. Children should learn to stay calm and even-tempered when spending time indoors with these dogs. They like to be the life of the party at the dog park, and they will happily introduce themselves to strange dogs when they meet one on the streets. This can put them in danger when meeting an aggressive dog, though, so they should always be kept on a leash when in public.
