April: Do a lot of reading in a number of genres, especially the one s you want to write in. Join a community of like-minded people and mentor s to help you get there. April: Recently Jayden sent me a story that he wrote himself. It was only a handful of sentences, but brought his Mom to tears. He is Autistic and has a very hard time writing. He and I have been corresponding after the first time his Mom emailed me telling me how much he loved the book. She was excited that it held his attention and he was able to read it for himself.
