Manor Lake sent us another puppy that they were going to keep to breed. This poor dog has chronic bladder infections and gastric issues and has vomited all her life. She is now .The vet has done multiple surgeries to try to fix her and she has been on a lifetime of antibiotics. Manor Lake is a total farce. The home page is a picture taken of the internet. I never really looked too much into the experience of picking them up because I never thought that was an important factor in judging the breed of dog. On the other hand, you should know this is a Texas breeder with a distribution point in Washington State. The dogs are shipped up and spend virtually no time in WA before pickup. We have several friends who also have dogs from them and were surprised to learn that their dogs were from Texas, not the Pacific Northwest. All of them thought they were buying from a local breeder. I contacted Manor Lake and they ignored me. They initially didn't send us any emails after our deposit. When we drove hours to pick up our puppy on a weekday they quickly handed him to us and had us out of the door in 5 minutes. I have friends who have doodles from other breeders and there is night and day difference in personalities. I have also contacted other breeders with these concerns and they reply saying that his behavior is not normal. In my opinion Manor Lake shouldn't be allowed to breed. We were told we would get a vet certificate when we got our puppy and have followed up via phone and email multiple times and still haven't got it. It's been well over a month. They are just avoiding us because they sent us home with a puppy who has had a horrible ear fungus. We have spent a ton of money and time trying to clear it up.
