Now I keep the receipt handy but have never been asked for it again. Out of paranoia, I got one anyway and it turned out to be a good choice. Because of a fire in Chicago, our return flight was re-routed. The re-routing required that one of my travel legs was with a different airline…that did require a valid health certificate according to policy. I was relieved I had a health certificate for Gretel!
