He is very smart and love treats, so I he picks new things up fast. He is house broken and know to stop something if mom says "uh-uh no" or "leave it" in her firm voice. He doesn'tt chew anything and doesn't counter surf. He only barks at delivery people. Chance can share his people, toys, and his bed, but please let him have his food to himself - he didn't always have food and worries. Chance knows the up and down commands, though he won't get on furniture unless you tell me it is okay each time. He also know sit, stay, come, and shake. Davin had already gone to live with the person who owned his son, Derby, but Derby had come to live with us for me to show. Debby was the first to find the perfect home, but over the next year Mandie and Derby also found wonderful homes. Mandie has since come back home because of the death of her person, but believe me when I say these three dogs found their perfect people. Through our interactions with Ann Kennedy and her daughter Katherine Kennedy Vigil, we already knew we wanted to start over with a Clarion bitch. They were both completely feral and would spend all of their time hiding. Howie 13 lbs has made wonderful progress with his foster mom. He gets excited to see her, will come up to her and allow her to pick him up and ask to be petted. He is still very fearful of her walking towards him and not allowing him to come to her and of fast movements but we are very happy with his progress. Keep in mind when he goes to a new home he will need lots of time before he trusts someone like he trusts his foster mom but we know he has it in him. He has made very small steps in progress but it has been minimal. He is going to take a much longer time to open up and in all honesty may never be a completely normal dog. Neither boy is potty trained. Jace cannot be free in a yard as you will never be able to get him back inside and neither boy likes a leash so potty training at the moment is a little impossible. They will need to go to a home that has a social dog to help them learn. We understand that it is going to take an extra special and patient home for them.
