Very few people can start in the corner of a picture and line by line produce a great work of art in the manner of a printer. Most great artists break down their drawings into steps. Basic outlines and simple shapes are built upon, until the canvas is filled with something spectacular. In these instructions each new section will be in red to help you focus on the part at hand. Pencil, pen and paper ready? Step 1 Take your pencil and piece of paper. Draw three circles. The central circle should be slightly bigger than the other two. The middle circle will be her torso. The bottom circle, intersecting the torso, will be her hips. Make a cross in each circle, placed towards the lower right hand side. These marks will help you to add features later on. Use your cross to place them in the right area. The eyes will go in each of the top segments. The nose will rest on the centre of your cross. Let the tongue and muzzle placement hang into the middle circle. Step 3 We are now going to add some bigger features. Working from one side of the head to the other, make sure they hang down no further than the base of the top circle. They should fall just lower than your horizontal line. The tail will wave up from the top left hand side of the bottom circle. The hind leg will rest in the middle of that circle. The right left will sit snugly next to it. You are going to make two new lines. One for the slop of his back and nape of his neck. The other will define his front. Add a last little line between those two legs. This gives him a bit more character and texture. So go ahead and draw a half cloud shape on his chest. Add in his left front leg, with a small paw pointing off to the side. Step 5: On the left side, draw a long, angled line as a guide for the Lab's other ear. The head is blocking most of this ear, so don't draw the whole triangle guide. Depict the hind legs. The hind legs have a wide base and a narrow lower part. Be careful when you draw bends in the joint of the joints. Add the lower parts of the hind legs. The feet on the hind legs have the same shape as on the front paws, and drawing these parts of the body should not cause difficulties. Correct inaccuracies. All contours of the body are already drawn, and now it remains to remove the extra lines and make the drawing more clear. Color the Labrador. I am about 2 years old and I love follow my foster mum around. She tells me I am her shadow. My foster potty trained me in a day and she said I am very very smart and I have to agree with that. The American Boxer Club supports reasonable "dangerous dog" laws which are based on the specific actions of the individual dog and which provide a well established system for dealing with dangerous dogs and responsible dog owners. The American Boxer Club urges enforcement of existing, non-breed-specific laws in effect in most states related to "dangerous dogs. These procedures were developed to prevent injury to the dogs as they performed the various functions for which they were bred. The American Boxer Club supports these procedures, when humanely performed, as appropriate for the breed, to maintain breed character and preserve the history of the breed. Tails are docked and dewclaws removed at just a few days of age, before the nerve endings are fully developed. Discomfort is minimal and puppies are usually sleeping or nursing within a few minutes of the procedure. Dewclaws left intact are often snagged and ripped off, causing considerable pain and bleeding. Boxers with full tails are at a higher risk of injuring the tail, leading to lengthy, difficult healing times and potential amputation as an adult. The Boxer standard states that an undocked tail should be severely penalized. Ear cropping is done by a veterinarian under general anesthesia, between six and twelve weeks of age. Most puppies are up and playing later that same day and show no signs of lingering discomfort from the surgery. Uncropped ears are slightly more prone to infections and are more prone to hematomas. The Boxer standard allows exhibitors the choice between cropped or uncropped ears, noting that cropped ears are customary. White Boxers There are two coat colors in the Boxer, fawn and brindle, with or without white markings which, in some cases, may cover most or all of the body. The American Boxer Club Code of Ethics prohibits members and member club from breeding white Boxers and from offering full registration on white puppies. White Boxers are also prone to sunburn. While excluded from conformation competition, white Boxers are equal to their colored counterparts as obedience, agility, service, therapy, and companion dogs. Black Boxers In recent years there have been a growing number of people advertising "black Boxers," or worse "rare black Boxers," usually at inflated prices. They often distort or sensationalize the worst examples of animal cruelty -- issues that are covered by and prosecuted under existing laws as a means to raise funds and misrepresent a need for new, more restrictive laws.
