We may even have a dog up for adoption that has some physical resemblance of a Lab but turns out not to be a Lab at all per a DNA analysis performed by the adopter. I honestly have no idea how you kept up with soooooo many pups at once. We have had him just over two weeks and I have not gotten a stitch of work done. Thank goodness I have my own business and work for myself or I would have had to fire me! I just figured to heck with it, he is only going to be little once and I want to take advantage of this time and enjoy it and use it to train him as much as possible. I know it will pay off in the end. Before I start bragging and carrying on about him, I would just like to preface it with.He has settled in so well from the very beginning. He was soooo good in the kennel. We never had any whining or anything. Housebreaking is going very well. His record for no accidents in the house so far is two whole days and he goes to the door when he has to go now. He absolutely seems to understand what "Potty" means and what he is suppose to do. I took him to the vet right away after he came home and the vet said he was absolutely perfect I already knew that! He had a fecal exam done , it was of course negative. A week later at nine weeks he had his vaccines and the Dr. I found the trainer that I had used for my other dogs. I had started with him almost 15 years ago he had since moved to LA. Anyway, he still comes out this way for a few clients so he agreed to work with us again. I am so happy about that because I already know and use his basic methods, I just need some brushing up and re-training. He started last week and he has progressed so well already.I have progressed too, I had forgotten more than I like to admit. The only thing that I am questioning is if I am feeding him too much??? He was ten weeks yesterday and weighs exactly 16 pounds. He is still just strictly on the Natures Domain. I didn't want to change too much of anything at the beginning. I am feeding him one cup of food, three times a day at six hour intervals. He looks great to me, but of course acts like he could eat double what I am feeding him. I am trying really hard not to look into those big brown eyes and give in and give him more! The doctor had a formula but thought that you would be more of an expert in that area than he would since you raise them so he wants me to check with you just to be sure. I would appreciate your thoughts on this and how I will know when and how much to increase. I am sending you some pictures of him I took at nine weeks. I hope they come thru to you OK. I even set up a little Thanksgiving photo shoot for him.My kids think I am over the top, but I don't care, he is too cute to not be over the top! Three-week-old Alfie was snatched from Terry and Gina Hayes' home in Beechdale in January, after they had advertised puppies for sale. The puppy was still being weaned by his mother Pebbles at the Hayes' home and it was feared he could die if he was not found soon. The year-old man, who was arrested on Tuesday, has been bailed. Pushed to the floor It is not known if Alfie is dead or alive as he has not been recovered. Mr Hayes, who is terminally ill with emphysema, was knocked to the ground during the raid. The family had placed an online advertisement for a litter of puppies and Mrs Hayes received a text from a woman who wanted to view them. She answered her door in Fremount Drive to a woman and a masked man, who tried to put Pebbles in a black holdall. Ex-miner Mr Hayes was pushed to the floor and was later taken to hospital. He is not too hyper like the Pug, but never runs out of energy for the long walks. Duke is a lap dog; happy and mellow and eager to please, yet our big protector! He is a 6-month-old Cocker Pug. He seems to have the personality of a Cocker; loves to play. He is 25 lb. He is a loving, energetic and adorable pup, with a great temperament. I think he is a perfect example of a beautiful Cocker Spaniel x Pug. In only one month she learned sit, wait, leave it, lie down, and some more of the fun ones: dance, spin, shake, speak and roll over. Her mother is a lb black Pug and her father is a lb. Although she was only 35lbs, she acted as if she were bigger and was the leader of all our dogs. Cudjoe was a great family dog who would never hurt anyone. Unfortunately, she was only 8 when she was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphosarcoma skin cancer and soon after died. She put up a fight to the very end and we were left broken hearted.
