Not all mini Goldendoodles are equal, there are a few different versions to choose from each having a little different genetic background based on the pups parents. We will explain all the differences in Mini Goldendoodle puppies and how they are bred below. We raise all versions of the mini goldendoodle breed. F1 Mini Goldendoodle Pups. A F1 puppy is also known as a First Generation puppy. The puppies mother is a Golden Retriever and the pups dad is a Mini Poodle. This version of mini goldendoodle usually has soft wavy or curly puppy fur. They will shed until they lose their puppy fur, after shedding they will shed a lot less, but will shed. This version is partially hypoallergenic and usually requires low maintenance. F1 mini goldendoodles usually need to be groomed every 6 months along with daily brushing to keep their curly hair from matting and getting tangled. The dogs usually grow up having great temperaments similar to golden retrievers. They usually get about inches high at the shoulder and range in weight from pounds. F1b Mini Goldendoodle Pups. An F1b is known as a second-generation mini goldendoodle with the pups mother being already an F1 Goldendoodle and the pups dad being a mini poodle also. So the difference between F1 and F1b is that the mom is not a golden retriever but an actual F1 Goldendoodle. They also have very soft curly hair but with almost no shedding. This F1b version is semi-hypoallergenic and a better choice for anyone who has pet allergies. The F1b also should be brushed on a daily basis but will need to be groomed more frequently then a F1. A 6 to 8 week grooming schedule is recommended to keep their coat in perfect condition. F1b Mini goldendoodles get around 18 to 20 inches tall at the shoulders and range between pounds in weight. F1bb Mini Goldendoodle Pups. An F1bb goldendoodle is also known as a third-generation mini goldendoodle. This mini goldendoodle version has a coat more similar to a poodle than of a golden retriever. This is because the pup is more of a poodle than a retriever. Making it the very best version for anyone with pet allergies. A 6 to 8 week grooming schedule is required to help prevent knots or matting. This version is super intelligent and loving, and usually seems to have more energy than the other versions of Mini goldendoodles. This version is usually smaller in size, weighing around pounds and only getting inches tall at the shoulders. The smaller size makes them a great size for smaller homes and apartments. He so much enjoys playing with all his toys, running, and yes, zooming too. Growing and learning every day, we are constantly amazed at his intelligence. He is such a lovebug, and is learning more and more that he loves all the attention he gets everyday. Yes, he has a way to go to get full house privileges, but he improves every day, and is enjoying his earned freedoms. Checking DNA, blood lines, and parent dogs for the most desirable characteristics barely touches the surface of all the behind the scenes work that assures anyone who is interested in obtaining a pup from Pacific Northwest Doodles that they are going to have the most wonderful pup to bring them joy for years and years. She had been walking us through the whole adoption process and sending us frequent updates and pictures of our little guy and his siblings for the past couple of months. You better believe these puppies were cute! We were so excited to meet Benjamin! As a bonus, we got to meet his mom Pixie as well. She is such a sweet and friendly dog! We knew that our Ben came from a loving home and would be a wonderful addition to our family. What I didn't know was that I'd just brought home my best friend. Thank you Jennifer for all that you do!!! Each and every day is a blessing. This is the breeder to contact. PNWD made sure to listen and understand what I was hoping for in a companion dog. With that information, they helped me choose the most amazing puppy. Codi is intelligent, willing to try anything, go everywhere and settle for hours while in the office. Training has been a dream and those we interact with in parkour, farm agility, obedience, tricks, hiking, rally, therapy work, travel and more are taken with her gentle nature and avid happy engagement with any activity. Bordoodle is my breed and Pacific Northwest Doodles are my source. We are so grateful for the intentional care he received early in life. He came to us at eight weeks with a beautifully settled nervous system. He is calm and engaged and cuddly, and yet a real go-getter outside chasing the ball or frisbee or playing with other dogs. He loves people and is bright as a button and extremely quick to learn. Five stars is not enough! November now and Bing is 7 months old. Bing was appropriately cautious at first, but happily swam out to meet his friends with me holding him around the torso for moral support. Within minutes he was confidently swimming on his own, paddling across the pool at speed to retrieve rubber chickens. It was pure delight to see his enthusiasm and prowess! He is healthy and strong and a joy to be with. Bing is our first dog and we owe great appreciation to Jen for setting us on a good course for puppy training and nutrition. One more thought. This cross breed is as smart as you would expect. Bing loves all kinds of games and puzzles. He liked nothing better than to engage with us in some new challenge, and then have a good cuddle to celebrate success. Jennifer kept us in the loop as the pregnancy progressed and we were delighted with pictures and video clips of the pups minutes after they were born. When we picked Quinn aka Barbie from Hazel's bordoodle litter up in March, it was clear that the cuddly, sweet-tempered puppy had been well socialized, well loved, and well cared for. She has a sweet disposition, gets along extremely well with other dogs and people and is very smart and eager to please. Jennifer provided plenty of advice on training and veterinary care. Can't recommend Jennifer highly enough! This is the program widely used for service and military dogs to prepare them for anything that might come their way. A wonderful start for therapy dog training. Feeding Program We start our puppies with raw goat milk and then move on to raw meat, canned food, goat milk, soaked Blue Buffalo Lamb for Puppies, raw egg, cottage cheese, kefir, raw bones, and veggies to give them the best start in life possible. This article from Dogs Naturally really helped me gain more understanding about feeding raw. In Lynden, we purchase raw meat from Lynden Meats. Health Testing We never breed our dogs before they have been fully health tested; both physically and genetically for any diseases these breeds may be pre-dispositioned for. We test hips, elbows, patellas, heart , and eyes — along with a full disease and traits panel by Embark Vet for any disease traits the dogs may possibly carry for. This is a vital piece that many unschooled breeders miss. If a dog carries for a disease, such as Degenerative Myelopathy , it is imperative that the dog is NEVER bred to another carrier of this disease. Without proper genetic testing by facilities like Embark and Paw Prints , the breeder will never know the true results of the pairing. Another important factor in breeding is coat traits. These are what give the puppy its coloration and doodle-like coat. Kim has been breeding Bernedoodles for many years, and she has been an amazing mentor for me. Click on the Our Dogs tab to see what we test for and the results for each of our dogs. Grooming Doodles have a coat that is constantly growing, and although it is essentially light to non-shedding, they can shed when they are going through heat cycles, when they blow out their puppy coat, or when the weather is warmer. This coat needs to be brushed on a regular basis which will also reduce any shedding that may happen, and should be professionally groomed every two months for a gorgeous fluffy coat. Guardian Homes Available We are occasionally looking for suitable homes for our breeding dogs as believe in quality — not quantity. Sometimes we have an exceptional puppy we would like to retain for our breeding program but our household can realistically only retain two — three dogs. You can take a look at our Guardian Home Agreement here click on the small photo to bring up the larger image. To be considered as a guardian home, you must live in Whatcom County, have a fenced yard, and someone must be at home most of the day. Healthy Warranty Because we have done all our homework up front with full physical and genetic health testing on all our dogs and any dogs we use for breeding purposes, we are able to offer a generous two-year health warranty on your puppy. Check out our full warranty here so you can proceed with full confidence that we will stand behind our puppies. Once the puppies are five weeks of age, they start going outside as soon as they awake in the morning, and we start the bell-training at this time. We also start the crate training process for you, saving you some sleepless nights. I love and recommend Baxter and Bella whole-heartedly. Please note, adult coloration is not guaranteed as some dogs can fade with age, and this is not something we can predict. Puppy must be spayed before 1. Your puppy will also come with a vet well-check from Whatcom Veterinary Hospital , will be current on vaccinations and deworming, and will be micro-chipped with ID Tag registration. Each puppy will be sent home with at least a leash, collar, toy, blanket that smells like mom and siblings, and starter food. We start the potty-training process for you and begin crate training to make the transition easier for you and your puppy. We start the training by placing kennels in their play area with free access, and after several days, we start placing puppies in crates with a sibling. After three or four nights of this, they are placed in individual kennels. Finally, we also provide ongoing support for your concerns and questions whenever they may arise for as long as you need us. Transportation Shipping is recommended via a flight nanny or personal pickup. Delivery is also available on a limited basis. If using a flight nanny, the puppy would be delivered by the breeder to the flight nanny at Seatac or Bellingham Intl airports. Cloud Nine Doodles also offers the option to fly the puppy personally to the airport of choice, on a limited basis. This can reduce a lot of stress and anxiety for the puppy who is flying with someone they are familiar with. Flight nannies can be recommended by the breeder but must be chosen by the buyer and approved by the breeder. Ground delivery by the breeder is sometimes available. For more information on why we prefer to wait until the puppy has reached puberty, you can read a great article from Mercola here. De-sexing is always a healthier option, but it does cost more. Spaying or neutering before puberty will void the two-year health warranty as we feel it drastically affects the health of the puppy. Vaccinations We believe in the importance of initial vaccinations for the health of the puppy. We do not give the first vaccination until the puppy is 7. It is recommended that the puppy receive its 2nd and 3rd boosters three to four weeks apart. Rabies should never be given before five months of age, and should not be given together with any other vaccine. The protocol for vaccine schedules is changing. To determine if your adult dog requires a vaccination, and to find out what is safe for your younger puppy, please study Dr. Most vaccines protect for up to five years, once all puppy vaccinations have been given. Do NOT give your puppy the Lepto vaccination. Puppies should not be taken to places like dog parks or schools where many dogs spend a lot of time. Never take your puppy to these places until all vaccinations have been given. We like to use this test to make sure we have the puppies pegged correctly — which can help guide us in placing the correct puppy in the correct home. For instance, we would not want to place an energetic puppy in a home with small children who might be overwhelmed, but realize this would be a better fit for an active family with teenagers. We do allow our prospective families to pick their puppy, at seven weeks, based on the order in which their deposit was placed, but we help guide them in the decision making process by sharing our observations of the puppies during the first weeks of their lives. Many videos will also be shared as the puppies grow to help each family watch the behavior of the puppies during different stages of growth. Many families already have a pretty good idea of which puppy will be the best fit for them before the actual picking process even begins. Every family is allotted 1. I had never seen this level of separation anxiety in a dog, to the point of tearing apart a kennel and shredding blinds if left alone the house. Amy patiently helped me work through all these issues and this dog is now a well-respected member of another family, and he absolutely loves his crate and can be left alone when needed. Amy is a certified service dog trainer, and she has so many excellent training tricks I had never even thought of. She makes training a breeze from the comfort of your home utilizing her hundreds of videos, live classes, and even one-on-one phone calls. View Our Available Puppies! But at the moment, they need your guidance. For now, this includes sleeping next to you for the first few weeks, maybe even longer. Just have their crate or bed close to wherever you sleep. Our articles on sleeping through the night and establishing a nighttime routine will give you extra tips on getting through this phase. A puzzle toy or Kong will work great at making them feel like you leaving them is actually something quite fun. Potty training All new puppy parents expect potty training to be on the cards. It will help to remember your Boxer pup is a bit of a goofball. For now, we definitely want to let your pup get used to you and settle into their new home. Teach your puppy about surfaces — Different surfaces can feel strange to pups. Use surfaces like grass, moss, paving and sand. Basically, make their tail wag and we bet yours will too. Teach your Boxer their name. Teach your Boxer puppy to sit. Remember what we said about Boxers and their jumping? Recall — Trust us. Preventing resource guarding Resource guarding is where your dog fiercely protects something they have and will do everything they can to keep hold of it. Dogs can resource guard food, a toy, even a person. You can do this by teaching them that hands and touch can be a good thing. As always, back up your soft touches with some treats. Remember that consent is also a thing with dogs! Never force your Boxer to be handled or pick them up against their wishes. Socialization exercises to do this week Training to do this week Husbandry Tasks to do this week — Fireworks — Watch the world go by outside your house — Play dress up. This will affect everything from how comfortable he is eating, to bacteria in the bowl and also has a direct impact on the risk of developing bloat an issue with this breed. Size, height, material and overall design all matter. Read more about the best food and water bowls for Boxers Bed or Mat Boxers love to take over the sofa, make claim to their human's favorite chair or stretch out on the floor. We recommend a 6 food leash or retractable for house training Boxer puppies. You'll want to keep him close to lead him to and keep him in the exact designated area and to have him close to give immediate praise and reward. A short leash is also best when training your Boxer to heel, since his proper positioning is to your left and right by your side. A longer leash, or one that can extend out, is great for allowing your Boxer to run and have some freedom, when deemed safe. In regard to a collar or harness, this breed typically has strong enough neck and shoulder muscles to do okay with a collar. However, if your Boxer tends to launch himself forward or off to the side quite often when on leash, play it safe and get him a harness. This will remove the issue of pressure being applied straight to the neck and instead it will be displaced on a Boxer's stronger shoulders, chest and back. An ID tag is a must. Though your Boxer can tend to stay close and you're on-point in regard to not letting him off leash, it's just not worth the risk. Choose a stainless steel tag that is weather resistant and will be durable enough that the engraving does not wear down. It's suggested to put more than one type of contact info for someone to return your Boxer cell, address, email. The Right Toys It's best to think of toys as tool. Which ones are going to perform to meet the needs of your Boxer puppy or dog? All toys should serve a specific function. If not, you mind as well toss them or your Boxer may already have figuratively done that by ignoring them. And most toys cannot meet all of a dog's needs at one time though some can have a duel purpose. The main reasons for certain toys include: Teething, chewing urges, entertainment to stay busy especially when home alone , and owner interaction. Read more about choosing the best toys for a Boxer Brushes Boxers have short, dense coats that will shed mostly into themselves, rather than leave a mess on the floor. This is great for your house, but not so much in terms of health for the coat itself. Though Boxers can enter shedding seasons depending on where you live , most still or entirely shed minor to moderate amounts throughout the year. You will want to routinely brush the coat from head to tail at least once per week. During times of heavier shed, use a tool specifically to pull out dead hairs. Brushing has several benefits: It pulls out hairs that have shed but fallen back. If these are left, they can block natural air flow. It distributes natural body oils It removes fine dirt and debris Is healthy for the hair follicles, leading to better re-growth fur is in a constant renewal cycle The best brushes for Boxer dogs: For the type of coat that a Boxer has, the best brush will be a quality bristle brush. Be sure that it has a sturdy handle, is sized well for your hand, and has proper tension it won't do much good if it simply glides over the surface. For times of shedding, when you need to pull out any dead hairs, use a grooming tool that reaches deep down, latches onto hairs and brings them up and out. Dental Care Items Of all the supplies you might possibly get for your Boxer puppy or dog, do not overlook dental care items. What can happen: Plaque builds up on a dog's teeth every second of the day and chewing on treats and toys even great dental treats just doesn't get it all off. Within 3 days, plaque starts to harden into tartar. It encases the teeth and travels under the gum line. It eats away at the enamel of the teeth, causing decay and rot. Infection can travel up into the sinuses or even throughout the body, causing sepsis. Decay causes teeth to loosen and eventually fall out. And of course, this all happens comes at the cost of quite a bit of pain for a dog. The American Veterinary Dental College reports that periodontal disease is the most common preventable clinical condition in both cats and dogs. Without proper care, most dogs have some level of periodontal disease by the age of 3 years old; at this stage, there are not enough signs of unknowing owners to take steps other than bad breath yet can lead to damage to internal organs. What to do: Take measure to ensure excellent oral hygiene with your Boxer dog. Brush your Boxer's teeth with a quality toothbrush. Use an appropriately sized, 3 sided brush. Use an effective toothpaste human paste is toxic, look for a canine product that tastes good and works well to remove plaque. Don't be surprised when a good paste does not foam; they are not meant to since dogs are supposed to swallow the product. Offer one effective dental treat each day. We highly recommend Greenies; these are simply the best and are an accepted product of the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Think about using a water supplement that works to kill bacteria and help prevent plaque. Be sure that it does not contain a drying agent and tasteless ones work best. Bathing, Coat Supplies Everything that you use on the coat shampoo, conditioner, spray will either be beneficial to a Boxer or detrimental. You will want to have a really good shampoo that not only cleans great, but does so with the right pH balance to avoid over-drying and without harsh chemicals. The conditioner that you use needs to coat hairs without being so oily that residue remains which can clog skin pores. The coat should be protected with a spritz. A leave-in spray offers some great benefits: It smells great, protects the coat from static, contact friction and outdoor elements particularly the sun. Though, even with dogs that are outside much of the day and are super active, you can't depend on this to keep the nails short enough. If you want to do this at home, we recommend an electronic filer. It's much easier than clipping. Nose - A dog's nose is naturally pretty vulnerable to all of the elements it encounters. From arid air to cold winds to sun exposure. A big mistake is to only put something on the nose once it starts to look really dry or start peeling, because while a good product can indeed heal a chapped or cracked nose, it's better to be ahead of the game and prevent it in the first place. Every month or so, apply a quality nose butter and then keep it on hand for when you need to apply it more often, which is typically in the dead of winter and in during long, hot summers. Paws - You don't want to baby the paws, because they toughen up as a puppy and then dog walks on a variety of surfaces. However, if they become damaged this puts you back several steps and can even morph into serious issues. This is why a quality paw wax should be part of the supplies you have for your Boxer, it's a vital part of year-round paw care. Look for a good wax that allows the paws to breath and is absorbed quickly in just a couple of minutes. Car Restraint or Seat If you'd buckle up your child, there should be no hesitation to buckle up your Boxer. To not do this is to risk his safety. There are over 16, car accidents per day in the U. No matter how good of a driver you are, you just can't guarantee that someone won't crash into you or that road or weather conditions won't cause something to happen. So, of all the possible supplies that you might get for your Boxer, this one can literally save lives. There are some great options that are easy to use, can actually help with motion sickness and are comfortable for a Boxer puppy or larger, older adult dog. Read more about finding the best car seat or belt for a Boxer dog. Basic First Aid Supplies There are a few basic essentials that every owner should have on hand in the case of injury or emergency. If you've ever looked into this, you may have found some pretty extensive lists; and that's a shame because you don't need half of those things. Chances are, you'll never find yourself searching through your supplies as you try to set broken bones; things like this should be saved for the animal hospital. However, dogs do commonly swallow things that they should not according to the Pet Poison Hotline of the ten top breeds that they received calls about, the Boxer places at 8. You should always be prepared for this. Also, there can be insect bites, something in the eye and small scraps and cuts. Read more about which first aid items you should have for a Boxer dog Outer Gear - Optional, Based on Needs Many Boxers do just fine without any sort of additional layers via jackets or coats. However, some don't. Puppies, senior dogs, or those that are ill or recovering may have an intolerance to the cold. Additionally, just about any otherwise healthy dog can need some help during super harsh weather. If your Boxer is having a hard time in the winter and this is interfering with meeting exercise requirements or is getting in the way of house training, you may want to check into this. If so, read more about clothing for Boxer dogs. Supplements - Optional, Based on Needs If you are feeding your Boxer a high quality food, vitamins and minerals are already added to the mix. However, if you are offering a mainly home cooked diet which is great , you have to be the one to add in a complete vitamin and mineral supplement. So You Want A Boxer? Mar 17, Jun 22, This post may contain affiliate links. We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. So you want a Boxer? I personally have a soft spot for Boxers thanks to fond childhood memories. Both were fawn colored and great with kids. One of my pet sitting clients was also a black brindle colored Boxer who loved to play catch me if you can in his yard. His name was Bogart and he was the most beautiful Boxer I have ever seen, and I swear he was aware of his good looks! Known as brachycephalic dogs, their nasal passages are much shorter than those of dogs with long snouts. That makes them more prone to overheating on hot summer days than dogs with regularly sized nasal passages. The same applies to tail docking. Besides a more natural look, undocked Boxers with a full tail are also better swimmers and can communicate more effectively with other dogs and humans too. It simply means teaching your Boxer to follow rules that are important to you. For example, no pulling on walks , not being allowed on furniture, no jumping on guests, waiting for your OK to eat, not racing through an open door, etc. They enjoy being close to their humans, including adults and children. Boxers Are Classified As Working Dogs Did you know that thanks to their courage, strength and stamina, Boxers were originally used to hunt wild boar and bears?

Life Span Did You Know? The German Shepherd is one of the most versatile, well-recognized, and popular dog breeds in the world. The modern German Shepherd is descended from a family of various German herding dogs. Breed standards were not developed until the late 19th century when Captain Max von Stephanitz, a German cavalry officer, worked with Arthur Meyer and other breeders to develop the ideal German herding dog. Stephanitz and Meyer wrote the breed standard in and the American Kennel Club recognized the German Shepherd as a member of the Herding Group in .Although they were originally bred as herding dogs, they were also bred for versatility, which made the German Shepherd an all-around working dog that could excel in a variety of applications. German Shepherds are one of the common dog breeds employed in K-9 units in both police and military applications. They also make great service dogs and, of course, are still awesome herding dogs and farm dogs! The German Shepherd is a strong-willed and highly intelligent dog. They have a playful, energetic spirit and tend to get along with children, other dogs, and other pets, which makes them a great family companion. A born protector, the German Shepherd will provide a great sense of security for their family while their loving and lively personality will make them fit right in as a companion. German Shepherds are naturally protective and can be wary of strangers at first. A well-socialized German Shepherd will bark to alert you and tends to warm up to strangers once introduced. German Shepherds are dogs that were bred to herd and work. This, plus their high energy, makes them a better fit for homes with fenced yards where they can run. They can adapt well to larger apartments as long as plenty of time is dedicated to ensuring they get enough exercise, mental stimulation, and attention every day. A bored, ignored, or under-exercised German Shepherd can often become a destructive one. They also can be sensitive to their surroundings and large gatherings can be off-putting. With a longer coat, they tend to prefer cooler climates and are sensitive to heat. The German Shepherd is a generally healthy breed, but there are some potential health concerns and good breeding practices make a big difference. Potential health concerns to be aware of in a German Shepherd include hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia , and degenerative myelopathy. Reputable breeders will screen their dogs to avoid passing preventable issues to puppies. So, make sure you are asking about the health and genetic history of both parents. You can also ask about any health tests or clearances that have been done. As a barrel-chested breed, the German Shepherd is also at risk for bloat. While the German Shepherd is highly intelligent and highly trainable, they are generally not recommended for novice owners. If you are a novice dog owner, enroll in puppy training classes or enlist the help of a professional dog trainer; not just for your dog, but for yourself as well. Training assistance will help you grow in experience and build a strong bond between you and your German Shepherd puppy, which is essential. Also, the GSD has a thirst for training and fulfillment. They get bored easily and especially with repetition, so continued training with your German Shepherd throughout their life will be necessary. German Shepherds have a medium-to-long double coat. They will shed year-round and heavier as seasons change. Brushing a few times a week is usually sufficient; brushing daily is even better and your GSD will likely love you for it. Bathing is occasional on an as-needed basis. Ear checks weekly with careful cleanings as needed can help prevent ear infections. German Shepherds are high-energy working dogs. Not only do they require a lot of daily activity, but they also are a herding breed that was made to run, guard, and observe, so they need a job to do to be happy and healthy. Daily walks plus playtime, time to run, and other activities are usually enough for a GSD, but they will likely be up for more activity if you are. With their versatility and athleticism, you can try a lot of different activities when puppies finish growing and they are cleared for higher-impact things. It is important to understand what you are paying for before choosing your new German Shepherd puppy. The price of a single puppy depends on its bloodline genetic background. Show quality dogs with excellent pedigrees tend to be expensive because they could potentially win championships and produce champion offspring in the future. Working line dogs that come from responsibly bred parents also vary in price on their genetic background. When looking for a breeder, it is important to ask questions about the health and temperament of the puppies. A responsible breeder will always have healthy puppies with excellent temperaments. They will also provide a health guarantee and be happy to answer any questions you may have. It is important to remember that not all breeders are created equal. Some breeders are more interested in making money than in the welfare of their dogs. However, there are some great breeders in the state of Washington. Visit Your Washington German Shepherd Breeder in Person When you have found a breeder that you feel comfortable with, it is important to visit them in person. This will allow you to see the breeding stock and meet the parents of the puppies. A good breeder will welcome your visit and be happy to answer any questions you may have. They will also let you take the puppy for a test drive so that you can see how he or she behaves in different environments. Finding a quality German Shepherd puppy is a wonderful addition to any home. With a little bit of research, it is possible to find a responsible breeder who meets all of your needs. A responsible breeder will always provide those who purchase their puppies with references. A good breeder should be happy to give you as many facts and as much information as possible before allowing you to take home one of their puppies. By investing the time and effort now, it will be easier to find a loving pet later on. These conversations should help answer any lingering questions that you may have before bringing home your new German Shepherd puppy. However, there are some great breeders out there that offer full disclosure, health guarantees and references. If you are looking for a quality German Shepherd puppy, it is important to do your research before choosing a breeder. A responsible breeder will always be happy to put you in touch with people who have purchased their puppies in the past. If a breeder refuses to let you speak with past customers, it may be wise to move on and find another breeder. Ask around and talk to as many people as possible. Meeting past customers is a great way to get an idea of what you can expect from the breeder. If a breeder refuses to let you speak with past customers, it may be a red flag. Find another breeder. A good breeder will be happy to answer any questions you may have. When looking for a Washington German Shepherd breeder, one question you should ask is what veterinarian they use. If the breeder does not have a regular veterinarian, this may be a red flag. Because it shows that the breeder is not responsible and does not take the health of their dogs seriously. A good breeder knows the importance of using a good veterinarian. This will help ensure that you find the right dog and the right breeder. A good breeder is passionate about their dogs. They should be more than happy to answer any questions you have during the puppy buying process. If they are not willing to answer your questions, it may be time to move on to another breeder. If you encounter an unethical breeder during the process, you can always report them to the Better Business Bureau or your local animal control agency. A good breeder will be able to tell you about the health of their puppies and will be happy to provide documentation from the veterinarian. If the breeder cannot tell you about the health of their puppies or does not have any documentation from the veterinarian, it may be a red flag. This could mean that the breeder is not taking care of their dogs and is not concerned about the welfare of their puppies. Always ask your breeder for information about the health of your puppy before buying them. This will help ensure that you are getting a healthy dog and that you are working with a breeder. It is also important to have your new puppy checked out by a veterinarian as soon as possible. This will help ensure that they are healthy and that there are no hidden health problems. A good breeder will be able to provide you with information about the health of their puppies and will be happy to answer any questions you have. If you encounter a breeder who is unwilling to answer your questions or is trying to rush the process, it may be time to move on. While they are small, you will need to make sure there are no dangerous objects around that could hurt your new friend. It is also important to get your puppy trained early on. This ensures that they will grow into well-behaved dogs that can be part of your family. While you prepare for the arrival of your new dog, it is important to keep their health in mind as well. Yes, we loved it from a process stand point and we have learned a TON from Kim and Jason, but we have also come to feel like part of their pack. Part of the family. And we have appreciated that as new puppy owners. They truly care about every puppy they breed and every home those pups go to. If you are looking for a puppy, and get a dog from them that they bred, you are getting the highest pedigree of a GSD. Every part of the journey has been so refreshing and makes us feel like adding our new member to the family was the best decision ever. And we KNOW, we will always have a great support system. Overall: So if you are looking to add a gsd to the family Kim and Jason are your people. You will not regret it. These are the folks you want in your corner. So glad we met them, they are family now to us. Temperament, health, and of course handsomeness was paramount in choosing a puppy - all of our criteria was met. Everyday our wonderful dog brings us immeasurable joy. We cannot thank Kim and Jason enough. They go above and beyond in all they do and truly understand dogs and their unique behaviors. Testimonials "We wanted a sister for our 6 year old GSD, Katja, she had just lost her favorite kitty Tattoo, who was 33 years old. I then started researching GSD Breeders in our area. I researched them thoroughly. From the moment Bobbi and I spoke on the phone I knew this was the perfect fit, she sent us pics of her mom n dad and pics of Zasha. All of the parents history, health records, vet checks, AKC certification and verification. We called a handful breeders and met with a couple and were saddened and discouraged. She cared, she asked tons of questions, wanted us on speaker phone to get a feel of our family. You could tell her dogs and puppies were her family just as much as any human. Bobbie encouraged us to talk it over, call her back with any questions and we were welcome anytime for a visit. We did call back with questions and planned a visit the next Saturday as they live 3 hours from us. I have never been greeted into a strangers home so warmly. All her dogs are amazing, loving, smart, beautiful and tested. Justin brought his girl Kimber home and we remained in touch by sending photos, messages and her checking in. Fast forward 1. He said to me "Mom, come on - it's Bobbie! If she's home, I bet she'd love it" so I sent a quick message and immediately she said "yes! It was intended as a short visit but we were having a nice time and Kimber and our lab were having so much fun playing with her dogs that we took much of their afternoon. She had a 5 month old puppy that we all feel in love with for her goofiness and loving manner. Sounded as though all would be fine in time but Bobbie wouldn't take that chance in case she needed extra medical care in her future etc so she gave the person who had a deposit on this girl her pick of the litter instead. Over the next 4 months she was monitored and vet checked and released with a clean bill of health. We are a busy house with 2 of Bobbie's German Shepherds, a lab and a yorkie but always try to take moments to send Bobbie updates of their antics and spoiling. I can tell you in our hunt we did not come across anyone as dedicated, responsible, committed or loving with her dogs than Bobbie and we can't leave her children or Mike out - they too were there every visit and very engaged and supportive with the dogs. Much love, " - Michelle Evjen-Freed and family Bobbie is wonderful lady, who deeply cares about her dogs. All her dogs is absolutely stunning, well behaved. I'm mom of her 2 gorgeous German Shepherds. Bobbie is very honest and responsible breeder. I love Bobbie and highly recommend her!! Julia Goudie.
We specialize in breeding Mini Goldendoodles as well as a few other breeds. We also have partnered up with several other high quality breeders that raise mini goldendoodle pups that meet our strict genetic criteria and testing. So we usually have a good selection of very high quality puppies. View Our Available Puppies! We do all of this to ensure that we produce physically healthy puppies. A Furever Friend We have received so many reviews from our puppy owners about how these little fluff balls blend well with families and children they are great buddies for boating, hiking and swimming. The proof is in the pups. Starting when puppies are three days old, we perform early neurological stimulation. Research shows that these exercises can give dogs a serious advantage. Each puppy receives individualized exercises for thirteen days. These thirteen days are believed to be when the most neurological development and growth occurs. Early Neurological Stimulation helps dogs become better by improving heart function, reducing stress rates, and improving resistance to disease. We make sure to prepare our puppies for your nurturing home. We give them daily affection. We also work hard to prepare them for future environments. We introduce them to an array of sounds and actions. We make sure that they have been exposed to common triggers such as sirens, fireworks, household appliances, and lawn equipment. Following necessary safety precautions, we also introduce them to kids and visitors. They also have been subjected to routine procedures such as nail trims and ear cleaning. At five weeks, we start reinforcing potty training by taking them outside to the grass. Standard sable parti poodle. Use tab to navigate through the menu items. We have moved around a little due to selling our home. Our home-based breeding program will remain the same, however we are currently taking a break from breeding until our younger females are health tested and old enough to breed. We will raise our sweet dogs in the home and provide the highest level of care possible. We love our fur babies and consider them an extension of our family. If you have any questions about how our move will affect the adoption process, please reach out today. We are happy to answer any questions and clear up any confusion. Healthy Twin City Doodles strives to produce healthy, well-structured and allergy friendly Goldendoodles with amazing temperament and vitality. Our parents are both health tested for clearances of genetic disorders that are common with both the Golden Retriever and the Poodle. The parents are also physically tested for any congenital health defects. Accredited We are accredited Blue Ribbon Breeders with the Goldendoodle Association of North America, which means we hold our standards to the highest in the breeding of our Goldendoodles and we certify the health testing of every breeding dog. Our health test results are required in order to be approved and certified by the Goldendoodle Association of North America. We were recently awarded the badge of Excellence for our health testing and practices for Goldendoodles. We are happy to share the test results of our parents on any of our litters that you are inquiring about. We also limit the amount of litters that we have in one year and currently have only one female that we are breeding. We are NOT a puppy mill. Family We raise all of our puppies in our home and they are loved and cared for by our entire family. We socialize our puppies with our adult dogs and children in our family. It is our goal to produce puppies with the temperament that is social, affectionate, non-aggressive and easy to train. Training and Socialization The first weeks of a puppy's life can have an effect on its emotions and behaviors as an adult. This is why we follow Puppy Culture training and socialization guides starting when puppies reach three days old. This includes early neurological stimulation, in home socialization, clicker training, house and crate training, behavioral temperament evaluations, and structural assessments all within the first eight weeks of our puppies lives. The Boxer Terrier has a square head shape, and most times, it takes the color of the Boxer breed, which is usually white and brown or white and black. The facial features of both the Boxer and Rat Terrier are evident in the Boxrat. However, this breed sheds hair frequently. Also, ensure you allow them to socialize well. When going out on a stroll, you can always take your Boxrat Terrier around and get it to meet more dogs and people. You can either look for an adoption center or a breeder in getting one. Adoption centers are best advised. However, if you get it from a breeder, ensure it is from a good and responsible breeder. Poodles were originally bred in Germany to help farmers retrieve waterfowls. The Poodles are of three sizes. However, the smallest sizes were used in breeding the Poodle Rat Terrier. This Ratshire will have moderate grooming needs with its medium coat. This doggo is intelligent, affectionate, and playful. They may also have a strong prey drive, so early training and socialization will be good for them. This will diminish their high energy level. Depending on the coat it inherits, the Ratsky Terrier may have moderate grooming needs. The Rat Terrier Boston Terrier mix will be a small size, typically a perfect mix of both parent dog breeds. This doggo will need moderate grooming with weekly brushing. This mixed breed is easy to train and loyal. This small to medium-sized pooch will need moderate grooming. Pugs, like Bulldogs, have short noses. This doggo is intelligent, easy to train, energetic, and will be an overall great family pet. They love attention and may cause mischief around the house to get some. The Rat Terrier Cocker Spaniel mix will need a fenced-in yard to let loose and get out some of their energy. Having a hybrid will allow your pooch to have different personality traits and even different grooming needs. You can choose a hybrid that will work well with your family in terms of activity levels, as well. Do you have a Rat Terrier mix at home? Let us know in the comments below! By looking into the characteristics of the parent breeds, we can arrive with a conclusion of how your mixed breed will end up. Both the parents of the Boxrat Terrier Crossbreed came from the Terrier family and were originally bred for vermin control and house pets. The Mix of Boxrat Terrier, like its breed parents, is a small dog. It often resembles the color of the Boxer which comes in black and white or brown and white. The head of the Boxrat Terrier Mix is in the shape of a square, Which has a certain softness to it. This hybrid displays the facial features of both parent breeds. The muzzle of the Boxrat Terrier Mix is not as short as of the Boxer parent. The Boxer is known to shed frequently. The Rat Terrier is known for moderate shedding. In line with that, it would be best to brush your Mix of Boxrat Terrier at least twice a week. The intelligence of the Siberian Husky also makes the hybrid puppy easy to train. There is a slight chance that the Mix of Ratsky Terrier inherits the dominant genes of the Siberian Husky. This can result in some challenges in training the Ratsky Terrier Mix during its puppy stage. The Ratsky Terrier Crossbreed are highly energetic dogs. With that, you need to provide them with an exact diet regimen, as well as sufficient exercises such as long walks and active playtime. You have two options when finding a Ratsky Terrier Mix. You can either look for a breeder or adoption centers. The original Corgi was bred for herding needs. With that, the Mix of Corgi Terrier tends to become protective over its owners. They may not do well spending time alone and may develop Separation Anxiety since they can easily get attached to their masters and other pets you have at home. The Corgi Terrier Crossbreed is a loyal dog and can be easily trained. They will perform in flying colors for training sessions on agility, obedience, and active sports such as herding competitions and fly ball. Aside from the purebred Corgis there, you will also find a ton of Corgi mixes. Aside from being a fantastic swimmer, they are also brilliant. The Poodle is also known to have a funky hairstyle which served to make the dog flexible when it is in the water. We know that there are three sizes of Poodles, but the Germans only used the small ones to breed the Poorat Terrier Mix. The Mix of Poorat Terrier is lovable, friendly, and adorable due to its small size. But regardless of its size, the Poorat Terrier Crossbreed can also be feisty at times. It is capable of living with other animals as long as it is trained for it back when it was still a puppy. The Poorat Terrier is prone to obtaining some health risks. Breeders can provide guarantees on puppies. Look for a health clearance before taking the puppy home. If you are purchasing the German Terrier Crossbreed for the sake of doing a particular job, we advise you to buy a purebred instead. However, you will surely find one in rescue centers since these organizations usually keep mix breeds among anything else. With that, they can go along well with other animals. They are also warm around visitors. On the other hand, the Mix of Beagat Terrier also has a strong prey drive. In line with that, you will often catch them chasing birds or squirrels around your yard. The Beagat Terrier Crossbreed can respond excellently to training as long as it is provided with a wise and patient trainer. You need to start with obedience training followed by house training. The Beagat Terrier is known to have a smooth coat. However, you might want to give it weekly brushing to remove the dirt and to maintain the shine. Despite that, the Bull Mastiff has a soft spot for the people it loves. The information about the Mix of Mastiff Terrier is obscure. However, you can still create an estimate of what the personality of your dog would be like based on the traits and characteristics of the parent breed. Just like all kinds of dogs, the Mastiff Terrier Crossbreed is also prone to genetic illnesses. To ensure that your dog is in full health, it would be best to obtain your dog from a breeder instead of rescue centers. The Terrier can grow up to 17 inches while the Bull Mastiff has a height maximum of 27 inches. With that, it is bred to be a family and companion dog. It is energetic, lively, and always looking for someone to play with. Due to its playful attitude, it can sometimes appear dominating towards its owners and children. With early training and socialization, however, the Labrador Terrier Crossbreed can be a great family pet. The Labrador Terrier is expected to be in decent health due to the high health status of both of its breed parents. However, you need to watch out for particular illnesses that the dog mix can catch such as heart disease and hip dysplasia. The typical height for the Rat Terrier is inches depending on whether the breed is on the miniature or standard size. With that, the height of a Rat Terrier crossbred with a Labrador can also fall within these numbers. The Mix of Ratchua Terrier is perfect for people looking for a pet with enough playful confidence and cuteness. Information about the personality of the Ratchua Terrier is quite obscure. The color of the Ratchua Terrier can have variations of black, sand-white, or tri-color. Eventually, however, the skill and traits to hunt down animals were bred out of The Great Dane. The Modern Great Dane that we know now is noble and gentle creatures who get along quite well with almost everyone whether it is a human, dog, or other animals. The Great Dane is quite similar to the Rat Terrier breed parent who also likes to have fun and play around children. A notable difference lies in size. Your Ratdane Terrier Mix can either take after the Rat Terrier parent whose height can go up to only 18 inches or The Great Dane parent who can grow up to 34 inches tall. If your puppy happens to land the genes of The Great Dane, the best approach would be to train the Mix of Ratdane Terrier pup immediately. The Great Dane genes might prove to be gentle and loving, but due to the enormous size, this can be a huge problem for children or if you have smaller pets at home. The Rat Terrier was initially bred for vermin control. The Border Collie has an instinct to protect its herd. With that, whether you are looking for a guard or family dog, the Collie Terrier Mix would make a fantastic choice. Meanwhile, both the Border Collie and Rat Terrier are quite energetic dogs as well. In line with that, we can conclude that your Mix of Collie Terrier will require long exercise periods. The reason for this lies in the thick fur of the Border Collie parent. The Collie Terrier Crossbreed is excellent with kids and other animals. However, for the case of cats, they have a high tendency to chase them away, most likely due to the nature of the Rat Terrier parent. If you intend to buy a Mix of Ratterrier Aussie, it would be best to expose it to training and socialization while it is still a puppy due to the off chance that it takes after the traits of its Rat Terrier parent. The Ratterrier Aussie Crossbreed is typically healthy. However, they can also be prone to certain illnesses such as joint dysplasia, allergies, eye problems, among others. Despite being a modest shedder, you might want to give your Ratterrier Aussie routine grooming and baths. This can guard them against certain illnesses. This makes it prone to diseases concerning those parts of their body. Just the same, the Dachrat Terrier Mix will tend to catch those illnesses as well if the Dachshund genes happen to dominate the Rat Terrier. We suggest that you prevent your Mix of Dachrat Terrier from jumping from high elevations such as tables and chairs. By doing so, your dog can quickly acquire a slipped disc. The Dachrat Terrier Crossbreed is excellent with children. This crossbreed is one of the best pets to have if you are looking for a companion around the house. They are quite energetic and playful. They are easy to care for as well. Just leave them in a reasonable space, and they can keep themselves occupied for a couple of hours without supervision. The Mix of Prug Terrier is relatively small since both its parent breeds are quite miniature. If the Prug Terrier Crossbreed takes on the Pug genes, it will be squarish in appearance, not to mention have a short muzzle and broadhead. Aside from their desire to spend time with their owners having fun, they can also be an excellent companion for hunting. The Mix of Spaniel Terrier is also known to love getting attention from its owner. With that, these breeds have a strong need for training at a young age. Otherwise, it can cause mischief around the house. Your Spaniel Terrier Crossbreed will be a miniature dog since both of its parent breeds are small in size. While the Cocker Spaniel is known to be one of the sweetest dogs you will ever see, the Spaniel Terrier can potentially take after the traits of the Rat Terrier. So, it would be best to expose it to lots of socialization at a young age, especially if you have other pets around the house. The Rat Terrier is somewhat the same in the sense that it was also bred to search for certain animals. Both the Rat Terrier and American Bulldogs are great housepets due to their protective and sweet nature. There is no recorded history about the American Bullrat Terrier Mix. Due to the similar characteristics found in both the parent breeds, however, we can conclude that your American Bullrat Terrier Crossbreed will make a marvelous house pet and guard dog as well. The Shar-Pei is an independent, intelligent, and loyal dog that originated in China. While it is caring towards its owner, it can come off as a bit standoffish when it comes to strangers. The Rat Terrier is the opposite, which is usually friendly with everyone. Regardless of what genes your Mix of Shapreit Terrier will take on, it will require long hours of training and socialization. This will allow your dog to become adept to meeting new people if it takes on the Shar-Pei genes. Meanwhile, the exercise will also help tame the high energy if your Shapreit Terrier Crossbreed takes after the Rat Terrier genes. The Mix of Blue Terrier is mildly destructive and has strong jaws. With that, this breed requires consistent training during its puppy stage. We suggest you take it for long walks or a game of frisbee at the park. The Blue Terrier Crossbreed has a sporty nature, which helps it to live up to 15 years. Its countenance tends to scare them off. Despite that, both of these breeds are obedient and loyal towards its masters. In line with that, you can expect these traits to be present from your Golden Terrier Mix as well. If you want to utilize your Mix of Golden Terrier for rescue operations and competitive events, there is a need for consistent training during its puppy stage. The Golden Terrier Crossbreed is easy to train due to the obedient nature of the Golden Retriever parent. In this case, your Golden Terrier will have a fuller coat and will require frequent brushing. You can count on them for competitive event and hunting. Meanwhile, they are also sweet pets to have around the house. Your Mix of Pitrat Terrier will have a muscular chest with a narrow body towards the rear. It will have a broad jaw and square-like face. Although we suggest, you give it frequent brushing to keep the coat shiny. You can expect your Pitrat Terrier to grow up to 22 inches and pounds. This breed prefers warm climates and is quite healthy. The Mix of French Terrier tends to develop back problems. It is sweet and affectionate towards owners but can come off as aggressive towards strangers. Sufficient training and socialization are required. The shape of your French Terrier Crossbreed can resemble either parent. However, for the ears, you can expect it to be bat-shaped, just like the French Bulldog parent. On the other hand, the Catahoula has a history for being stubborn. In line with that, you need to extend patience to the Catarat Terrier Mix during its initial stages of training. If your Mix of Catarat Terrier takes on the personality of the Catahoula, you need to provide with an ample space where it can run around. The Catarat Terrier Crossbreed has the high energy of its Catahoula parent. Given sufficient exercise, the dog can live up to 14 years. With that, it would be best to brush the coat twice a week. It was only during the modern age when breeding standards were developed that this dog was recognized as a Mix of Shizurat Terrier. The Shizurat Terrier Crossbreed has a long coat colored silver, white, grey, black, brindle, sable, and heather. Due to the thick hair of the Shizurat Terrier, you need to brush it about six times a week. You also need to use a detangling cream and conditioning shampoo for your Shizurat Terrier. The Shizurat Terrier tends to become bored and chew on items that cross its path. With that, you need to give at least one hour of exercise each day. So, we studied its parent breeds and came up with a few conclusions about the dog mix. The Rat Terrier, just like what its name suggests, is a vermin hunter. It has a keen intelligence and magnificent physique. With the traits mentioned about the Doberat Terrier Crossbreed parents, we can say that your dog mix will become a herding pet. This means aside from having a buddy at home, and you will also have someone to protect you during times of crisis and threats. Both the Doberman and Rat Terrier have a short coat. With that, you only need to groom your Mix of Doberat Terrier at least once a week. No matter, we studied the parent breeds of the Newfoundratterier Mix to give you an idea of how your new crossbreed will emerge. The Newfoundland is a sweet and responsive dog, but it was originally bred to help fishers with their tasks. In a way, the Rat Terrier was bred for helping as well, except their primary responsibility is to chase off vermins. With these two breeds, you will most likely have a Mix of Newfoundratterier that is not only affectionate but can also be relied on to alert people if there are intruders or threats around the area. You can also provide your Newfoundratterier Crossbreed sufficient training so it can also help around with work you have in your house. Rat Terrier Mix Food Requirements Whether your Rat Terrier mix turns out big or small, you want to make sure they stay happy and healthy at all times. Little munchkins thrive on the best puppy food brands , and wise, silver-coated dog-grandpas get all the nutrients they need in their old age from the best senior dry dog food. Every gorgeous mixed woofer carries the genes of their super-unique and vastly different parents. So, make sure to offer them both the best dry dog food for small dogs and the best large breed dry dog food to see which suits their palates better! Both of these dogs can be friendly but personalities differ, so you never know. The Boxer is known for being intelligent, friendly, and devoted. All dogs need proper socialization and that will be a big factor in how they interact with others. What does this mixed breed look and act like? Is it more like the Boxer or the Rat Terrier? Those are the questions we will try and answer below. Continue reading below to see pictures, videos, and learn more about the beautiful Boxer Rat Terrier Mix. Boxer History Boxers are large, muscular, square-headed dogs that are extremely playful and have a lot of energy. The typical Boxer is intelligent, alert, and fearless, yet friendly. He's loyal to his family and loves to play with them, but he's also headstrong, especially if you try to use harsh training methods with him. They are extremely patient and gentle, especially with children. They are high energy dogs and need a lot of exercise. Because of their strength and courage, Boxers have a wide use in the military and the police, as well as search-and-rescue work. When specifically trained for guard work, Boxers are excellent watchdogs and will restrain an intruder in the same manner as a Mastiff. Boxers also excel in obedience, agility, and schutzhund a demanding three-phase competition event that tests the dog's tracking, obedience, and protection abilities. Boxers should not be left outdoors for extended periods of time. Their short nose doesn't cool hot air efficiently in the summer, and their short coat doesn't keep them warm in the winter. The Bullenbeisser had been used as a hunting dog for centuries to hunt bear, wild boar, and deer. They were trained to catch the prey and hold onto it until the hunters arrived. The Boxer we know today was developed in the late 19th century. Lehman of New York. Unfortunately, there weren't many female Boxers in the U. When Word War I broke out, Boxers were enlisted into the military, serving as messenger dogs, carrying packs, and acting as attack and guard dogs. Boxers started becoming popular in the U. Rat Terrier History This is an American bred dog bred to be a working dog. Being that they are so small, they were bred to act as a hunter and a farm dog to hunt pests like rats and other vermin. They needed them to be fast and able to catch animals as quick as rabbits. Today the Rat Terrier is a stubborn but intelligent dog who is wary of strangers. While they will be good with a family even if not properly socialized they may be aggressive to other pets and strangers. They have a lot of courage and are very good at detecting the mood you are in. They want to please and are affectionate but he needs a lot of exercise or he can become poorly behaved.

I was a matted mess and food deprived. Shelter got to work and called every rescue in their contacts "we need rescue stat for this Mama to be". Treasured Animal Rescue answered that emergency call and I had my babies in a foster home vs a shelter or worse a ditch. Fast forward some weeks and my babies have all been adopted and now it is my turn to find my forever family. Is that you? A little about me: no one knows where I came from, and thankfully, I don't remember myself! Maybe I belonged to a back yard breeder, and I escaped? You see, I am really good at escaping so my foster mom says that I must have a really secured fence. No apartments for me since I will tend to bark. Hello, I'm a dog. I love all dogs and cats. There is a doggie here in my foster home that I follow all the time. I am learning a lot from him on how to be a pampered pet. I follow him everywhere and it would be nice to go to a home with another doggie so I have a mentor that can teach me all I need to know to be a proper lady. I am still very hesitant around people; I just shy away, and it takes me a little time to trust humans. My foster mom tells me: "Ava, whatever happened to you won't ever happen to you again, you will see! It will be love at first sight. I promise, I have a lifetime of love to give. You will see! I'll be waiting for you. Please complete an adoption application to meet Ava.

Specializing In: Currently we are specializing in traditional tri, phantom tri and parti tri colored F1 and F1b Standard and Mini Bernedoodles. Bernedoodles combine the athleticism and intelligence of the Standard Poodle with the calm, laid back and affectionate nature of the Bernese Mountain Dog. With good breeding, the resulting puppies are beautiful, playful, affectionate, loyal, sweet and sometime quite comical. They are low to no shedding and tend to be allergy friendly. Full grown, our Standard Bernedoodles will weigh between between 80 lbs. Our Miniature Pups will weigh between lbs. My Bernedoodles are usually black, brown and white in a vaiety of color patters. I am also looking at adding a blue Merle to my pups. I love all Bernedoodle colors and work hard to breed puppies that are beautiful and have great temperaments. Some can have the taller but more slight build of the poodle, others have the stockier build of the Bernese. Their coats come in a variety of styles as well. Most Bernedoodles have a wavy coat, which are low to no shedding. Some can also have a curlier coat more like the poodle. Generally, the curlier the coat the less likely it is to shed. With little to no shedding, Bernedoodle coats can get matted. They need to be brushed regularly and clipped every few months. The F1 cross is considered the healthiest, as the parents have the least likelihood of contributing genes for common inheritable diseases. F1b puppies are the most likely to be non-shedding and allergy-friendly. I currently do not breed F2 Bernedoodles. They are all about people and are happiest when they're spending time with their families: playing, cuddling, and making us laugh. The puppies are raised in our home, being snuggled daily by our children, and come with a 12 month genetic health guarantee.
