My breeder gave me a card to register for a free welcome box, how do I apply for it? Please follow the instructions on the card to text us. What do I need when you call? Please have available, the breeders ID number and also the food product that they have recommended for your new pet. This information should be written on the pop out part of the card you were given. If the breeder has not made a recommendation yet, please ask them for that information before sending your text. We will also ask you for details of your pet and yourself. What will it cost me to send the text? Texts will be charged at your network rate. We do not make an additional charge. Please contact your breeder to obtain this information before sending your text. Yes, we can provide welcome boxes for up to 2 new pets in your household. If they are from the same breeder and being registered together, you only need send one text and our outbound team will collect the details of each pet. What do you do with my data? We will ask you during your call whether you would like to stay in contact with us by email or phone and you have the option to agree or disagree to receiving information from us. We can assure you that we do not pass your details to any third party apart from for the purpose of despatching your welcome box. For more information please refer to our privacy policy. I sent a text, but have not had a call yet. We will make the first attempt to call you within 48 hours of receiving your text. During busy times, this may take up to 5 working days. This includes working days only and does not include weekends or public holidays. I sent my text more than 48 working hours ago, but haven't had a call yet. If you received a confirmation text from us, our outbound calling team will make 4 attempts to contact you. If they are not successful after the 4th attempt they will leave a voicemail asking you to re-text. If you did not receive a confirmation text from us, we did not receive your text. What we recommend is to keep these dogs without food for at least 12 hours, and instead of allowing them access to water, place a few ice cubes or ice chips in his or her water bowl in order to minimize the amount of water that can be ingested at one time. Now, if the vomiting continues despite all of this, or your dog seems to be becoming more depressed or listless, begins to dry-heave frequently, or you note his or her abdomen beginning to expand and tighten up, then it is definitely time to call your veterinarian or a local emergency hospital. As far as diarrhea is concerned, we typically see two types—small intestinal and large intestinal. Small intestinal diarrhea is typically characterized by very loose or watery stool. Dogs with large intestinal diarrhea are more often than not still happy and animated. If dogs with the very watery, small intestinal diarrhea, are still acting okay, and will eat, we recommend feeding them a very bland diet, say boiled white meat chicken, or low-fat cottage cheese, mixed with white rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta. This is fairly easy to digest and will act to help bind them. The bland chicken or cottage cheese is still appropriate, but for the carbohydrates you want to feed high fiber, like cooked oatmeal, bran or bran flakes no Raisin Bran, of course , or canned pumpkin.
