Additionally, there are times where the throat may not open at all to swallow food. Especially if your Golden Retriever is a messy eater who leaves crumbs on the floor. Prevents your Golden Retriever from Playing with the Bowl An elevated dog bowl stand prevents your Golden Retriever from playing around with it. This is targeted towards your Golden Retrievers that are still puppies or who are particularly playful. After all, anything can become a toy for a bored dog.
